This is super simple: 1. (most important) Learn why women are attracted to YOU. Every man has something that women find attractive: could be money, looks, physique, you can make women laugh, you are brooding/mysterious, your anecdotal, you carry yourself well, etc. Point is, find out what mix of these attributes women find attractive about you. Once you're armed with this knowledge, you can identify which women are attracted to these attributes, and which are not - focus on the latter. 2. (very important) Surround yourself with women. You have to be around women more often than not. Surround yourself with the type of women you want to attract. You're not going to attract women if you spend most of your time at home or alone. 3. (kind of important) Do not be afraid to approach women: You cannot always wait for women to make the first move; you'll miss out on too many opportunities if you do. You have to be willing to make the first move.

You nailed this man. 1: Finding out what works for you, playing that hand it to its fullest extent and beyond. 2: Ill just give this as an opinion, one that’s proven true to me countless times throughout the years - Women are naturally more attracted to what other women have. One of the best quotes I ever heard was from a totally ugly dude (that still held himself together in terms of appearance tho).. “Go in that place guns blazin.. find the least attractive one of the group/The one you’re confident to pull. Buy her drinks and treat her like a queen. By the end of the night, the best looking ones of the bunch are gonna be interested by default”. And given what I said prior, since y’all aren’t even dating.. the other girls will feel even more appeal due to the fact that you’re literally operating on terms of “fairground.” 3: To be able to approach anybody. You have to build your self-esteem.. that time when you’re alone, *DO NOT* spend that time sending yourself negative, toxic remarks a majority of the time (balance is key, there is such thing as good, proper negativity.. if you’re already beat down. *THEN* is not the time for that. Hype yourself up when you lose/bring yourself down a notch and see what you could’ve done better when you win. And prepare for your next battle) That time you spend alone, is absolutely catamite to your self-esteem. You’re spending time with yourself, and therefore you must treat yourself in proper accordance. Also, simply *just* going to the gym, eating healthy, etc… isn’t always going to cut it. If you have anxiety or w/e.. you should find great interest in digging yourself out of that hole. Because the rest of the pieces usually all fall right into place once you start working on the big pictures.. and leaving the small, petty things aside. *Lastly,* (and maybe most importantly of ALL) - you need.. *NEED.* To cut out *ALL* of the toxic people in your life that are literally just dead weight. Because the prevalence of great minds being dragged down (FOR A LIFETIME) by weak minds, is far too great of a % chance in our reality. These people will continually drag you down, leave you hung out to dry, and constantly coming back to do it again, again, and again. You are literally who you surround yourself with. Even if it means family, you should find immense interest and in dissociation with this bunch. I’ll leave with a quote that I made myself after a lifetime of being overweight, underconfident, self hating, depressed etc… and I finally got out of that rut 4 years ago.. and never looked back: You can spend all day, all week, years. Cutting down a tree branch by branch, leaf by leaf. One branch a day, one leaf a day. But it’s just going to keep growing back in other areas, and pretty soon. A year has gone by, and the tree is still bigger then it ever was. Until you take out the axe, and start relentlessly chopping that base. Again, and again, and again. Until you dig every last ROOT out of that ground.. you’re never going to get rid of that tree - The ground is you. The tree is core of your problem. And the leaves/branches are ALL the other stuff that you feel uselessly negative about. Solve the core issue, come to understand it and know it through and through. From a wide array of spectrums.. you’ll know when you *TRULY DO TOO* - because suddenly, a great deal of things and ideas you’de always wanted to manifest within your lifetime. Will either come true, or seem but a stones throw away - even on the other side of the planet. And that my friends, is what they truly mean when they say, “do you, before trying to fix yourself up with somebody else”. You got this.

But, when I did went out on my own and had interactions with other women, they were fairly positive, which is one of the few things that makes me keep hope that I didn't go crazy and that I actually am attractive to some level. Still, the fact that I have no common ground to interact with other people - specially girls - just ruins every chance I have. My only hope really is getting a job that might have a nice girl I could meet, and that's low odds. I guess we just have to be strong until something happens, man.

Precisely- the only confounding variable to your assessment is that looks are in a small part determined by how well someone cleans themselves, or is responsible for themselves. Just look up videos of how women(and men too) have radically changed their appearance by being responsible in taking showers every day, applying acne medication, and getting plenty of exercise. In a sense, you want to try and appear as attractive as possible if you are searching for a mate. For Women and Men alike, I reccomend something black if it's on a date. You are right that attracting GOOD women is a huge, huge difference with 'beautiful' women. Take it from Creed: She wears a coat of color Loved by some, feared by others She's immortalized in young men's eyes In your mind she's your companion Vile instincts often candid Your regret is all that's left But beautiful is empty Beautiful is free Beautiful loves no one Beautiful Stripped me Anyways, Studies have shown that naturally attractive/beautiful people are at a higher risk for mental health disorders. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a common one.

Why are all Jordan Peterson videos inapprortiately named after the stuff that pick-up artists try to sell? Is that a cheap marketing strategy to elicit more clicks from insecure young men who wouldn't watch this material otherwise, or is it an attempt to frame Peterson and his material in a way that it can be disregarded out of fear for its power?

Here’s the problem in a nut shell. For a woman to be a woman all she has to do is menstruated. But when does a man become a man? What makes up a “real man” and how do women know when you are one? In traditional cultures there was always a right of passage. A real test of bravery, courage, strength and fortitude. Something all young men suffered through to prove their worth. Not just their worth to the tribe, but their worth and value to women. We have only a few examples of these things in modern western cultures, and almost all of them are in the military. (Think you are strong? Put more than your body weight on your back, pick up a 24lb m60, walk for 25 miles nonstop, then climb a mountain, we do it all the dam time). Because of this lack of right of passage, women can’t always tell who is “worthy.” They have an internal “demand” to know and have made up their own. Remember they are constantly being pulled between millions of years of evolution, feminist indoctrination, and a desire to have a good life for themselves and their offspring. Their current concept of an alpha is about as opposite an alpha as you can get, but they have no real way to pick. Here’s some examples or real alphas that wouldn’t even come close to a modern alpha definition: Crazy Horse (was 5’8”), Audie Murphy and Bruce Lee (AM was 5’5”, both were 130lbs soaking wet), Chesty Puller was 5’8”. None of them were “rich shopping carts” for women. They were the alpha of alphas. As men, we don’t get to choose what they find attractive. However, as men we are the only ones that get to choose how we are. Be as physically fit as you can. Lift heavy, cut the fat, be as strong as you can be. Learn every skill you can think of. Learn leadership skills. Challenge yourself to do things you are uncomfortable with. Never let fear dictate your life. If you work on those aspects, all others will fall into place. Those old standards are hardwired into women. And remember this: never do it for “women” do it for “you.” They can come and go, but you get to wake up to you every day.

Suck Less this is a great comment. I would add that a woman's driving force naturally leads to money because, at least in current society, that is how we ALL measure success. Or maybe the FIRST, quickest way we measure success. Man or woman, if you see someone running the material side of their life with reasonable efficiency you figure/hope that other aspects of their being work well in the world. Those that abuse this system for their own gains? Well, that's a whole different story and they are (or should be) in their own personal battle to combat such a life-outlook.

This is extremely spot on. But I've never understood how choosing to launch yourself into a situation where killing people makes you a man. Military now is nothing. When you compare the absolutely over the top gut wrenching terror of the great wars like the World Wars and Vietnam, it makes modern warfare look like airsoft. War making a man only happens if you where drafted and had no choice, because that is scary, or you lived through these horrors and remained yourself without breaking character. That is a man. Nowadays to me choosing to go somewhere with a gun is psycho. There are no threats of invasion so if you want to fight do mma. It's also funny how humans need to mate and keep the species alive but being a man means to do something that might kill you. It kind of nullifies the point right?

.."For a woman to be a woman all she has to do is menstruated." yeah... this is why people who listen to Peterson and just roughly summing it up gets a bit misleading /annoying to listen to at times .:P truth that women have a responsibility to take seriously on a psychological level of not getting pregnant, but that doesnt make a woman, as a kind of bravery would make a man. getting a period is not brave. and both sexes needs the "hero" story of trancendence into a higher self. how are these "old standards" hardwired into women?, living as a woman, is, somehow brave in itself? is it because of a higher degree of conscientiousness? and what does that mean? just asking. Its not that men doesnt have a passage to become men to women, society is not to blame, neither are women. what you write in the end there, to do what is good and difficult, is what makes grown ups and gets respect from other people, is the only truth. then you are a grown up "man" or "woman". . and maybe that includes some outlet of what your bodymind and hormones tells you to, if you want to feel "manly", do activities you think are manly and exceeds in your potential. whatever heals your spirit and makes you better. ..but dont you say women need to look at bravery tests to know how to pick a good man! XD thats a trap. what makes men especially,feel good, women doesnt necessarily care about, and what makes women in particular,feel good, men doesnt care about, "roughly speaking:P" as reflected in gendered interest in jobs, etc.. so in the end we mainly care about what the person feels about themselves, and if they are doing good, whatever that means. that is about the hiarchy that is very complex.. but all so simple. that is why it can be faked. if the person seems spritually healthy, or have something special about them, that they believe in something, it could be enough to attract a woman. the lobster hiarchy could be "faked" , or just made to a laugh. because its not what really matters. so men get annoyed when they se someone less physchally fit male get away with a pretty girl. this has happened at all times, because you can target the mind of a woman to a greater degree to have sex with you, than a man, because men are more physically rooted in attraction.:P that is why you think there are "fake" alphamales, while in fact, those men has just mastered to capture the passion of women. not all woman. not all men. but this is just trying to make a statement. i think even in those early times there was a guy writing poetry that tried to get the girl from the appropriate "hero" XD but that is just the treat that it looks like. if he is not real alpha, you can become better. so yeah. forget about being a better man first, because that is just sad, you should become a better person. working out is always good though.

I think to be truly attractive, a man needs to have a sense of purpose in the world. To be kind to others and compassionate. To have a goal in life that contributes to society and to work towards that goal without hesitation. To not place women on a pedestal and to not see them a central purpose to life. As soon as you develop this mindset of not needing a woman, you can be truly happy and pleased with yourself, that you are a man of character, integrity and genuine sense of mission in life. I think this is what makes a man universally attractive.

I gained an understanding of this back in the late 1980's by reading "Men and Marriage" by George Gilder. He said the same thing using different words. It's true. And, I got the beautiful wife while I was near the top of a dominance hierarchy. A small one, but one she respected. Seventeen years later she divorced me during a long term illness that prevented me from working and making money. So, it's really true.

Step 1: Hold your self to a high standard a walk with a purpose, people sense confidence, walk slowly with your shoulders back and chin up. Step 2: speak slowly and maintain eye contact. Women are much better then men at sensing confidence if you cant hold eye contact with the girl she’ll sense that your weak. Speak clearly and slowly shows that your not nervous. It also helps a great deal if your articulate and have some substance to you women are attracted to intelligence. Step 3: Don’t be weird, don’t come off to strong don’t be physical unless she initiates it. Women are attracted to men who make them feel safe so don’t make her feel threatened. Step 4: understand your the most permanent person in your life and never chase women, it’s okay to talk to girls and try and get girls but don’t make yourself constantly available and in the beggining stages never ever validate the girl because all other men do. Step 5: take care of yourself, dress nicely clean your self practice proper hygiene and smell good physical attraction is the first thing women notice and if you stink you instantly blow it.

The most attractive virtue of a man is a lack of fear, or, his obvious courage. You never see a boxer without a beautiful girlfriend. It takes courage to be a leader, to run a business, to win a championship.. courage brings success which brings status, power, resources.
@ThomasFoolery8
@ThomasFoolery8 3 жыл бұрын
No it isn’t. The most attractive virtue is raw talent. Courage is useless to women if it doesn’t convert to success in some way. A courageous person takes risks, and there’s a survivorship bias in that people who get the furthest in life were willing to take big risks to get there. What you’re missing is that the other half of courageous people failed tremendously and live in their mom’s basement now defeated with their ego crushed and realizing their courage was their downfall. Raw talent correlates to success way more than courage. Courage is a coin flip. Raw talent is a guaranteed grind to the top if you simply apply yourself and show up every day. People like to attribute things to skills that can be controlled because it’s a better message, but unfortunately life simply doesn’t work that way. Most things that lead to success are out of our hands. Looks, raw talent, and family wealth are the biggest contributors. After that, it’s grit. Grit is the only variable of the four that is within your control, and it does weigh heavily, but it’s definitely less important than raw talent which is by far the most heavily weighted variable.

Attracting women is more about avoiding unattractive behavior, than doing attractive things. Men must understand that if you want to attract beautiful women, you must truly be DIFFERENT than most guys that she meets. The way you talk, what you say, how you dress, what you believe, how you earn your money, everything must be different. The problem for most guys is that most guys are just like every other guy. It's hard to be different because most guys will try to influence you to be just like them, boring.

This social dynamic may affect her longevity in her overall relative attraction to you vs any possible competing males but one can only focus on what they can control. So what I'm hearing from this is That there are two ways to be attractive to women. First is to have a job which is a pretty broad objective. The second is to be good at climbing dominance hierarchies. It's pretty safe to say that all men on this planet are good at climbing dominant hierarchies because women have sexually selected for it as a trait. Statistically speaking women don't want men who are unemployed and aren't climbing any dominant hierarchies. So basically do the opposite of that.

Each man chose a different woman. After we all realized that no one was in competition for the same female, we all got along famously. As an aside, I was amazed at who some guys picked, because those women sure didn't seem attractive to me. I was also a bit dumbfounded that the one I thought most attrative others did not. I thought: What's wrong with these guys that they don't see what I see? I suppose every one of them had similar thoughts. If you can make them realise they aren't that great a person and you can help them become better then that's perfection 😂

If I dress in blue jeans and a T-shirt (and they fit well) I occasionally get approached, even with a wedding ring on. Usually by 20 something’s that didn’t do a walk around first and notice that I’m 50. You should see the expression of confusion on their faces when I turn around and they see wrinkles... When I dress appropriately for my income and job (on my way home from he office) 30/40/50 year olds bug the crap out of me. This happens even if I flash my wedding ring in their face. In the end it’s money that attracts them: money = power = dominance. So 90% of the time I dress in baggy jeans and baggy T-shirts, usually with gun logos on them. Been married 20 years, not interested in being tempted by some woman that doesn’t even care that I’m married. Besides that’s exactly the kind of character I would never be with, hot or not.

notaras1985 , that about sums it up. Of course there are exceptions but who wants to go through 1,000 to find 1. That’s why I have an issue with the concept of “alpha male” real alphas are the Audie Murphy’s, today’s alphas are just “highly efficient shopping carts” for women. If you notice courage, bravery, focuses and fortitude are never part of the modern Alpha definition.

It's simple if a woman says looks and money don't really matter....They're lying! There are traits women find attractive and if you've got them you're in luck, however you'd be amazed how much a woman will lower her standards when money comes into the picture!

People that truly love don't expect each other to be financially successful. If your primary focus is nothing but money you're going to attract a lot of narcissists and gold diggers in your life. All the wrong people that don't love you as a person but for what you bring to the table.

There's nothing to understand. Humans are animals and strive for certain goals. Some are better at it and some are worse at it. If you're dating hot and interesting people then you are winning, otherwise you are losing.

Confidence is the strongest pheromone. If you dont have it, you can fake it, and it will still work. You dont need to be competent or high on the dominance hierarchy. It works.

The admiration part was really interesting. You admire someone because they have gone through experiences and to admire is an attempt to emulate. If you can emulate their behavior thru what they’ve learned, u can learn without having gone thru the same tribulations

I find beautiful ppl causes our dopamine to change, First time seeing a more beautiful woman is always a shocker, then eventually looks becomes just easy on the eye, it's not normal if you crave such a thing in a woman beyond just inspiration, and yes not all things we own like beauty inspire each person the same, but it's ultimately not a need to say she's mine, for sure

You've got it wrong. Don't look for excuses. It's working hard and nurturing relationships. Working hard is working out, being in shape. Everybody can do that. Don't start with genetics and how you can't build muscle or lose fat. It doesn't matter just do it. Working hard is also acquiring wisdom. Learn skills, stop wasting time on meaningless things like we are doing right now on KZbin. Build a career you enjoy! Have a passion for something. Put time and effort into hobbies that don't earn you money aswell as your career. And build relationships. Plan things to do with your friends and crushes. Don't wait until someone does it for you. Experience things and lead your friends on a journey of adventure and memories that last forever. If you do these things, oh boy, the ladies will start being annoying to you. You'll be the one able to pick. But don't get arrogant or neither of this will work, be humble but know your strengths.
