This makes sense to me. I’m particularly in a situation where I’m conflicted with what I want to do vs what society wants me to do. And what he said is absolutely right, finding a balance between both where you derive maximum advantages. Thank you for this

I used to be a terrible person in my younger youth days (around 14 and 15) I was robbing houses, stealing cars, and I genuinely enjoyed it... It was an adrenaline rush that can't be compared to any other... When I got caught and went to jail it was really an eye opener for me... That wasn't where I wanted my life to go. Sometimes I have a really hard time coping with the things I've done because I can't believe that I was capable of so much harm and evil. Now I am 19 years old and do nothing but spread positive energy and just live in the moment I have begun to see the world reward me. I've began practicing daily meditation for a year or so now also intertwined with about handful of Magic Mushroom experiences and it has made realize the true yin and yang to life. I've experienced it first hand with my early teenage years vs. my life currently. There cannot be good without evil, There cannot be beauty without ugliness. There is a balance to life and it's a scary thought. But what else can we do besides be present and be aware of it?

I did some bad things in my early teens too I’m just glad I figured out as an adult that that type of lifestyle isn’t what I want. I hope you don’t beat yourself up too much about what you did in the past. You sound like you turned your life around & you’re bettering yourself. Good for you!

Although I don't know you, I'm very proud of you for committing to changing your life. We all have vices, you're just happens to be what it was. Continue to work on forgiving yourself, and keep putting good back into the world. Someone robbed me while I was pregnant, and the person was never caught. I said that to say it would make me very happy if the person who robbed me changed their life the way you did. I would have nothing but love and forgiveness for them. I hope you also realize that your past gives you the opportunity to reach the people that others can't.

Awful to be around a dominant individual and survive.❤❤ Balanced life is supportive, encouraging.

This is one of my favourites about finding the dynamic balance between extreme order and extreme chaos in a given situation. This is one of the hallmarks of sensing whether someone is malevolently pathologised at some level of another.

we only need to the human experience to evolve and so why chaos is needed but there is a another way, the automatic flow in life, where we embrace but don't attach, where the problems become an experience. While everything is in chaos we can sit on the fence in life to see the bigger picture

"Chaos vs. Order" - we flourish in the center of it - balanced. Can we go as far as saying to keep a balance between the balance and imbalance - that's a question I'm pondering. Not just regarding the mentioned spectrum but also other ones.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲? The still, vegetative and animate levels of nature are the only ones in a state of balance, because they have no free choice. They make no decisions as to whether they should behave one way or another, but they behave according to their inborn nature. We people, however, act according to our decisions that are higher than our inborn nature. We thus use these levels of nature-still, vegetative and animate, which are below our human level-egoistically, bending them however we wish for personal benefit. We thus destroy and empty the planet, plant life, animals, and eventually also people, due to the egoistic way we relate to each other and nature. The system we live in was set up so that we reach a state of mutual consideration, encouragement and support. That is the key to entering into a state of balance with nature. By acting contrarily, with calculations of self-benefit overriding those of benefiting each other and nature, we then knock ourselves out of balance with nature. Then, we experience this imbalance as suffering on personal, social and economic scales, and also as ecological blows, whether it be earthquakes, floods, wildfires, pandemics and several other phenomena that we call “natural disasters.” The more we head into the future without transforming our attitudes to each other and nature-from egoistic to altruistic-then the more we will experience our tightening interdependence negatively. However, if we start relating in a considerate, supportive and encouraging way to each other, then we will see how nature also relates positively to us. Accordingly, we will unlock a new balanced, harmonious and peaceful existence.
