So, Oklahoma fan here. Born and raised. Stadium: Tough and loud. Better than Oregon? FSU? Clemson? I don’t know… Offense: OU has consistently been an offensive juggernaut for 10 years. CO, Miami, Clemson? Better than Oklahoma? WILD! Defense: 12th? I’ll take it. Needs to be seen, but I think fair with the returning talent. They should be a top 15 defense this season.

I haven't been keeping up, so y'all correct me if I'm wrong. But if the offense, defense and overall ratings are based just on talent, that might not be a problem. In NCAA 14, if your head coach and assistant coaches were of a high enough level, you'd see significant overall boosts to the players. Enough to turn an 86 overall team into an 89 overall team. As long as Colorado and USC and other team's coaching staffs are rated properly, in dynasty mode, Colorado will not perform as well as these ratings suggest. But I also don't know if that system carried over into this game fully.

At first I was thinking the list is very wrong... But it doesn't matter, it is just a video game. Upon further thought, however, this might really have a large impact on recruiting and creating biases in high schoolers about schools before the even visit.

It is interesting, for example who plays these games the most? Kids who like football. Who fills those recruiting rankings? The same kids after graduating from HS. They know what they're doing by overselling some teams. And some players might grow up being early fans on the games alone. Especially if they're one of the better teams to play as

Toughest place to place is tied to winning which allows it to change. EA isn’t going to allow you to make stadium improvements to change it, if it’s based on location. That’s why these teams are are up there. Josh I thought you would understand that.

In the 2000s, Oklahoma was a hostile environment to play in. In the 2020s, Oklahoma has had an opera crowd. That being said, we're having a lot more big games coming into the SEC, so that inspires more passion than some of our late Big 12 schedules. That being said, we have a great home record, and that's probably a lot of what is deciding this based on some of the programs at the top or the toughest places list.

@JAaronMattox7 ай бұрын
For the team rankings, they were never that accurate because the overall team stats don’t have anything to do with it. They just rate the individual players let the chips fall where they fall. Probably relying too much on recruiting ratings for a lot of the players. So stars like Shedeur and Travis Hunter who are probably close to 99 make up for the deficiencies at OL for Colorado and since Tennessee is starting a redshirt freshman first year starter at QB he’s probably mid to low 80s. And idk maybe the qb is weighed more in their rankings since you’ll actually control him most plays
