The best proof that she's a very skilled performer are actually her interviews. That happy charismatic kid we saw was all an act and she was going through pure hell internally. Amanda had the ability to turn it on for the cameras and get through full interviews that way without anyone being able to tell she was in a really bad place. It's just unfortunate that she continues to be brought up and scrutinized because it affects her mental health in a major way, which she has stated many times. I wouldn't call myself a fan (I don't have any bad opinions toward her either) but I can definitely admit that she was an excellent entertainer. She definitely deserved better and had the potential to go really far in life.
