And then as an adult he got involved with the drinking/clubbing crowd. Changed his way of dress, and his attitude in general. Started to look and act more like a "bad boy". The dude ended up flirting with my ex-girlfriend while I was still with her. I wanted to talk to him to hash it out, but he treated me like I'm the bad guy. All I can say is, never trust a former-nerd who seemingly gains "confidence". There is a difference between confidence and arrogance, and a lot of them choose arrogance. People like Josh will play the victim, and try to "distance" themselves from their previous self that they hated. This is a red flag on it's own; self-hatred. That self-hatred will not go away through distance. It will remain, and you will eventually extend that hatred towards people who care about you.

Plus he was always getting girls. It was a good time in life for him where he had money, fame, and his music was popular. Weddings are important and you have to be selective with your guest list. Maybe they are friends but it wasn't a relationship where Josh felt like he needed to invite him. Look I've not been invited to weddings that are done by people I think are my friends but I just say ok well I guess we aren't close and I move on. I don't write stuff online saying I'm cutting ties with them. Sometimes it's not about you. Sometimes it's about a list and the priority of that list like family and a few close friends.

@@thundereagle97that’s the thing. Drake was crushed on by everyone, but EVERYONE related to Josh. He was funny, and kind, and smart, and awkward and everyone growing up related to someone like him. He didn’t understand that though because while we all related to him and loved him for that, he didn’t have a character he related to. It made him insecure and spiteful. That’s why it’s so shocking that josh didn’t like himself back then, probably even to Drake. Bc Josh was always envious of Drakes looks and personality and Drake was probably always like ‘Josh is such a cool, nice dude. A person that everyone likes, everyone would love to have someone like him by their side.’ It makes sense that Drake intended to always act on shows with Josh bc they had such fun chemistry and he really liked Josh, he thought it just made sense that they’d stay together until they couldn’t anymore. Josh’s insecurity surrounding their dynamic couldn’t let that happe.
