It was easy to overlook him when in America we really are clueless to the European scene. Although that is really dumb on us because Europe is a huge place full of 700 million people that's twice our number plus some. So when a guy by the age of 19 is considered the best basketball player in Europe that is huge and easily equated to one of the best guys to ever play the game. But here in American we didn't understand the significance. It is becoming more obvious. A basketball player does not have to come from America to be the best ever. The natural gifts that make a guy the best ever are not unique to the dirt that is found in the USA.

Luke reminds me alot of Tom Brady. Not the most athletic guy out there, but his IQ, feel for the game, and just elite skills and playmaking ability especially in the clutch negates any disadvantages his lack of athleticism may bring. Brady's combine scores were famously pedestrian by NFL standards. 7 rings later and it's safe to say that top tier athleticism isn't the end all be all for predicting success at the highest level.
