Yes. That's lost in his final comments. This story is no pointer to listening to teenagers on sex change. David Reimer was already surgically altered earlier on in life. That's why he was suicidal. Why does he not emphasise this?

that's your takeaway? how many successful circumcisions have occurred in the history of the world! I can see not trusting the new batch of mad scientists who masquerade as physicians. Obviously the issue here is these Godless maniacs thinking mutilating young people is okay.

I respect Colapinto’s uncertain take on the issue of rising numbers of teenage girls transitioning. I expected him to be better informed on trans issues especially since he wrote this book, but it sounds like he’s not really following the issue much at all right now or didn’t want to be canceled lol.

Yeah but what happen to David ain't got nothing to do with transgender hormones testosterone don't make males chromosomes do and David's brain and y chromosome was still male john not an expect and never claimed to be.

@@toshiojohnston3732the case of David Reimer literally proves that you are born who you are, you can't "learn" a gender. Trans people's brains have been studied, and I need to emphasize that they were studied BEFORE any hormones, and what they found is that their brains actually resemble the brain of the sex they we're born as.

I feel so sorry for what this young boy went through. What a tragic story. I see on wikipedia that the circumcision was done at seven months in order to treat a medical condition. After Bruce's penis was burned beyond repair in the attempt to use a cauterization technique, they decided not to circumcise Brian (who had the same condition). The condition in Brian cleared up shortly afterward. A lot of times "wait and see" is the best approach. It certainly would have been a better approach that castrating Bruce and trying to turn him into Brenda.

To normal people it's crazy. To the left, it was a success. The ruin of a human that they couldn't claim in the womb. Lifelong torture and misery ending in suicide. Mission accomplished, for the left.

David did not “feel himself” to be a boy - he WAS a boy. You indeed have not done your due diligence as this is NOT the same as what is going on today. This story is absolutely tragic and David did not invite any of it.

Yes, he did receive a substantial settlement. Unfortunately, he lost his money due to a bad investment. Shortly thereafter, his wife asked for a separation. Four days later, David killed himself, at age 38. A tragic end to a tragic story.

He needs to do his due diligence. A teen girl all of a sudden deciding she’s a boy is not the same as a baby raised in the opposite sex without their knowledge or approval.

He wasn'tborn with an undetermined genetalia, it was a Doctor's error that made the deformity, I'm surprised the Doctor wasn't sued for Malpractice, that Doctor's medical license should be taken away from him, or he should be put in jail. The child's knowledge of his parents' not doing anything is Tramatizing enough, never mind what he had to go through his whole life.

His parents were brainwashed but the doctor kept the twins isolated from them during visits - it’s been reported that he would yell at them and was verbally and sexually abusive in posing them in sexual positions and other inappropriate behavior.

46:56 it's really not funny at all, he ruined a lot of lives carelessly. I'm assuming this man became pretty close to the family and David it's sad. Have we forgotten that these are people, David was an innocent baby. Very sad I hope him and his brother have peace now.

I've always wanted to ask Mr Colapinto why the mother of "Paula" in his book wanted her to be a nurse, he mentions she didn't want Paula to be a lawyer etc, but never why.

As Jesus says, some are nade eunuchs by others. This is a tragedy that should have never happened and a tragedy compunded by an evil doctor. It seems David has a spiritual nature and has gained exceptional maturity. Jesus also says some make eunuchs of themselves for the Kingdom's sake. I hope that David simply takes this latter attitude, even though his condition was caused by others.

he dident do to broce enything..maby hes family and other Drs did,but not john.. he's parents ask for a "solution" but yeah,it's not cool at all what they did as a whole.. You just don't do that to a person who shows masculinity.. im MTF HRT for 10 years,and i'm very happy for getting a chance to be me,so some good did come out of it..
