Feeling that Way and Anytime are played together. This is from the Infinity album 1978 which is spectacular. Every song on that album is amazing and timeless. Keep the Journey reactions coming. They are amazing live as well. Check out the Live in Houston 1981 concert. Phenomenal. Journey On.

Saw them live in 79 and 82 and Steve is renowned for his countertenor vocal range and the same live as recorded, just phenomenal...Dubbed "The Voice" In the Top “100 Greatest Singers of All Time”...Thanx for the memories, Peace

I think the next song from Classic Journey, should be ...... 'Send Her My Love' Sadly the pairing part of this song wasn't included in the video, is 'Anytime'. Which you should listen to live. And don't stop there!! Journey has the greatest catalog EVER!!! The album 'Infinity' is the first with new lead singer Steve Perry! Together he and guitarist Neal Schon (like the name Sean) wrote 'Patiently'. Which is a GREAT song, there's no official video. However, you can react to the video from "The Midnight Special' That performance is AMAZING!! Other great songs from Classic Journey that I think you'll enjoy are ....... 'Stone In Love, Escape, Mother Father (live in Houston,Tx 1981, it's a Masterpiece!!), Who's Cryin' Now (also from the same concert), Girl Can't Help It, I'll Be Alright Without You, When You Love A Woman, Still She Cries, Open Arms (also from Houston,Tx), Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin', Winds Of March, Ask The Lonely, The Party's Over, Just The Same Way (sharing vocals with Greg Rolie (as in Feeling That Way), Faithfully, Edge Of The Blade, After The Fall, Still They Ride (the studio version is my favorite) Oh boy!! The list can go on and on! However, you'll really enjoy the 'Journey!!' 😊

THIS ONE INCLUDED THE TWO ORIGINAL BAND MEMBERS GUITARIST NEAL SHON AND KEYBOARDIST GREG ROLLIE(SINGER), THE SECOND SINGER STEVE PERRY WAS BROUGHT IN A FEW YRS. AFTER THE BEGINNING. THIS IS MY FAVORITE VERSION. GREG ROLLIE LEFT AROUND 1980 AND STEVE PERRY AND NEW KEYBOARDIST JOHN CAIN TOOK TO COMMERCIAL STARDOM! TODAY THEY'VE HAD 5 SINGERS 4 DRUMMERS 4 BASSISTS 4 KEYBOARDISTS. BUT ONLY ONE LEAD GUITARIST NEAL SHON!

As an old fogey everyone not there from the start of Journey probably does not know that Prairie Prince was the original drummer, who left to rejoin The Tubes after about a year in. Also on their first album they had a 2nd guitarist George Tickner (73-75) who left to become a Medical Doctor.

How did you feel about the singers? The players? Steve Perry is one of the best vocalists of the rock era and this was when he just started with Journey.
