HERE' S ONE TO ALL THE NO STEVE NO JOURNEY AND AP HATERS! However, you want to argue whether who sings better or is the best or whatsoever. .. FATE has already long decided for this band and this people. Rather than arguing over and over again, creating crap, hate, and disrespect. Let's just appreciate what fate has brought journey to this very day. Whether you're a pro Steve, AP or the other singers, at the end of the day, the reality is, we are still enjoying the beautiful mastery and craft that this wonderful music brings to our soul. Let's just love and appreciate people. All of them are talented in their own rights and class. Please don't be selfish too to the millennials and younger generation by trying to recreate the 80's concert. We, too, have the right to watch live, and we are just so glad that Journey with Steve Augerie or AP made that happen for us. The past is past, but you can always go back and appreciate the 80s if you wish, and you have all the freedom to do so, but give us also the freedom to appreciate talent at present. AP may not be as what he was when he first started with Journey, but we will all age and experience wear and tear, and nobody is exempted unless you die young! So for the haters and naysayers, if you dont like what you are seeing, then leave, rather than making a crap of yourself here. Do watch videos that suit your taste rather than posting as the all-knowing and all good here. AP got nothing to prove to us. He's done his craft and history carve him now as the longest frontman of Journey whether we like it or not that's already a fact. So i just hope this hate and racist remarks stop sooner and instead let acceptance, appreciation, and respect too of what AP worked hard for be appreciated and recognized. This man AP is just too kind, humble, and talented to hate.❤ He just loves his craft, and his professionalism is just overwhelming.

how full it was depended on the band that played, i was there and whenever cheap trick came out people were just then getting to the seats, with journey and def leppard, more people were coming in constantly.

Weird song to open with when they have so many classics to choose from. Crowd mood killer. Half of them sat down. I was in the front row stage right and I was often the only one standing in my section during certain parts of the show. They didn't sell any tickets in the right pit section so I had clear line of sight to the stages except for the rear main stage upper stage right section. They even kept the lane clear in front of the barricade, which was nice. We're all not getting any younger and it shows. Tough to stand the whole time even with the heat not being so bad. Both good shows overall. The band members of both acts were smiling and clearly enjoying the interactions with the fans.

The Yardbirds fell apart and then Jimmy Page found Robert Plant and Led Zeppelin was born. Jimmy had to include John Bonam on Drums or it was no Deal it was a good thing that he agreed Led Zeppelin became infamous. Journey Claimed their fame with Steve Perry and that is just that. Alot of successful bands have experienced the same thing.

Singing and performing like The one and only Steve Perry isn't easy as Journey well knows but to continuously do so for 17 yrs. Your bound to show a lot of voice straining at times. Steve was right when he said that Arnel sings his butt off every night. But I think he may be headed for a burnout before long. Frontmen in Successfully Established bands are all aware of this. He will recuperate I'm sure but how much longer will he last and what has to happen that could ruin his vocal cords forever. Good Luck Arnel.

Listening to the present iteration of Journey, unfortunately is lacking in my opinion. Arnel tries really hard and he is a good singer, but the whole experience seems robotic and passionless. Like they are just going through the motions. I saw Journey in concert twice with Steve Perry and the "Escape" lineup and nothing compares to their total cohesiveness and phenomenal chemistry.
