We ventured to Sicily's inland to uncover the mysteries behind the mosaics of a Late Roman Empire Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina and visited the heart of Sicily's ancient ceramic tradition: The UNESCO Heritage town of Caltagirone, a truly baroque jewel that has joined the 1 Euro Homes in Sicily project to fight its demographic crisis.
