Theres two types of Bladesinger Wizards. Those that take minutes to describe every detail about how their bladesong looks, sounds, feels, tastes (???) etc, and then theres those that just say 'I bonus action blade song'. There is no im between, lol.

I love square circles. I used to draw them on math lessons as a student. We discussed them later with my math professor. My nicest square circle had its center outside of the circle, and its area was getting smaller with its radius rising.

He then stabs another crawler for 12 damage 47:11 - Round 2: A portal to The Space Between Worlds opens and a wrap marauder comes out and lashes at the party w/ its tentacles at the party. Galatea is the only one that gets hit, taking 10 damage and being dragged to be swallowed extra dimensional mouth. Which she avoids w/ silvery barbs 52:40 - Gemini salys a second eldritch crawler w/ a critical hit but misses the remaining one allowing it to teleport away 53:57 - Galatea tries to misty step out of the barbed tentacles but the marauder's reality hunter keeps her in place (she doesn't use the spell slot). She does manage to strike it once for 5 damage though 56:21 - The remaining eldritch crawler tries to spit contaminated venom at Galatea who manages to shield the attack 57:23 - Pluto frees Galatea from the tentacles then slices into the warp marauder for 13 damage. This triggers its swirling color field, Pluto is teleported 20ft away from them 59:56 - The marauder sends its barbed tentacles out again, Galatea is the only one to get hit taking 10 damage as she is dragged back into its mouth again. However, her shield prevents her from getting swallowed 1:01:06 - Round 3: Gemini hits a marauder for 21 damage ad increases his AC by 7 1:02:15 - Galatea's firebolt and blade misses the warp marauder 1:04:10 - The crawler's contaminated acid misses Galatea 1:04:53 - Pluto puts down the marauder restraining Galatea, as eldritch lightning shoots at him which manages to deflect w/ his shield 1:07:05 - Combat ends w/ the remaining eldritch crawler fleeing into the library (I'm sure that's fine) 1:07:32 - Harvesting monster parts 1:11:20 - Everything I do is begrudgingly and coated in 20 layers of cynicism 1:11:37 -1:11:44 - Scene change as the party enters the Space Between Worlds 1:15:38 - It's important to watch what you eat or it will watch you 1:22:10 - Pluto takes 10 points of damage from thinking 1:23:30 - Rolling d6's 1:24:08 - Pluto doesn't believe hard enough and takes 8 falling damage 1:25:34 - We all have to think about it together 1:25:58 - Initiative is rolled as more warp marauders appear 1:26:15 - Round 1: Galatea holds her action to jump w/ everyone 1:27:24 - Gemini holds his action to jump 1:27:41 - On Pluto's turn everyone jumps and fails to visualize the forge of shattered and take 10 psychic damage 1:28:45 - The three marauders shoot their tentacles at the party. Gemini cast shield avoiding all the attacks while Galatea gets hit twice for 10 damage as Pluto gets hit once for 5 damage. They both get dragged into the marauders extradimensional maw but they eat them 1:30:12 - Round 2: Galatea frees herself from the tendrils, but misses the marauder as its color field shoots lightning dealing 8 damage to her 1:31:26 - Gemini dilemma, friends or money. He stabs into the monster that's attacked Galatea, dealing 30 damage, he also saves form the hypnotic colors 1:32:45 - Pluto also frees himself from the warp marauders grasp, then stabs it for 16 damage and shoving it away. He saves from the hypnotic colors Pluto then takes 9 damage form thinking for the forge of shattered stars 1:34:24 - Round 3: Galatea misses w/ both her attacks then gets teleported by the warp marauder taking 12 damage and is immobilized 1:35:39 - Gemini bloodies a marauder dealing 30 damage to it and giving himself a +2 to his AC. The color field shoots lightning at him which he dodges 1:36:36 - Pluto slays one of the warp marauders as he deflects the a lightning blast (much too Monty's dismay) 1:37:34 - The remaining Marauders flee and combat ends 1:37:50 - Yay more monster bits 1:38:19 - An ominous message form Elemkeinin 1:39:25 - Flashback ends (the party is shocked that Pluto can read) 1:42:35 - Session ends 1:42:54 - Shout outs and patrons

We will be returning to drakkenheim in a few weeks. The Kickstarter for Monsters of Drakkenheim ends next week and we may take a week or two off to regroup. But drakkenheim will continue soon!

I’m massively looking forward to this book coming out. I’m 100% planning to use the crafting system (and monsters) in my own campaign. I was wondering if you are going to make a sheet to help players keep track of crafting materials they gather though. I find player inventories fill up fast, especially for pen and paper, and it would be nice to have a separate sheet to hand out to players to help them track what they gather, as well as maybe rules for some of the things they can always craft like potions and scroll.

I think your ruling on Silvery Barbs is wrong. I normally dont care but given how strong the spell is it might be worth intervening. The spell says "The triggering creature must reroll the d20 and use the lower roll." which, to me, implies that you first resolve the advantage/disadvantage to get a result and THEN roll a new d20 and compare them. It appears you guys are ruling it like the Lucky feat. But the catch with the Lucky feat is that it says "roll an additional d20. [...] You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. So Lucky specifically says roll an extra die and chose whichever you want, while Silvery Barbs says to reroll THE d20 (implying you narrowed it down to one result). Would love other peoples opinion on this.

I look at it like this. Not my table not my ruling. I don't use the spell because I don't own Strixhaven so I don't have to worry about it.

Here's how I see it. With advantage and disadvantage you do indeed narrow it down to one roll for silvery barbs to influence, because only one of the two matters for each. Highest for advantage, lowest for disadvantage, so those would be the dice affected by silvery barbs. If they roll a 1 and 20 on advantage, they reroll the 20. If they roll a 19 and 20 on disadvantage, they reroll the 19. This is the only fair ruling I can see that doesn't make the spell useless.
