Thank you for the excellent review. I have to keep this on full power to get the freezer to work correctly it seems like. I was considering getting this on Amazon..

I use it mainly as a Fridge. I can get the compressor to kick off when it's fridge temperature. -01 setting isn't freezing on this it just makes the freezer area a big fridge. To store frozen food yeah the compressor is always running. Don't have enough solar power to do that yet. So I just set mine at -01 and once it gets there it's drawing less then 1 watt. If I'm on a long drive I can run the compressor during my drive and not tap into my solar battery

Great review buddy very detailed like always! Is your solar not powerful enough to keep it going 24/7? I have 165 watt panel and 100 amp hour AGM battery and mine has been running it a year straight. Surprisingly even cloudy and rainy days it’s been keeping it going great. My solar is not connected to my alternator either. This is my second fridge unfortunately... my first one a 500$ Dometic croaked at 9 months old after running it 24/7 off just my Optima yellowtop starting battery. My McGuiver friend said too much voltage fluctuation fried my control panel eventually??? Don’t know if he is correct though. I gave it to him and he is trying to fix it he found a new control panel for it on eBay.. Oh well... I would probably be rich and own a house if I wasn’t a automobile enthusiast.. Enjoy your fridge it’s a game changer!

I'm going to have to run 2 batteries now. My Single is just good enough to keep this running for the night but I like using my space cooler and using my laptop so I'm going to need more power now. You got the ARB right? So the Dometic was so efficient it can run off your car battery when the car was off? That's impressive. The ARB draws even less doesn't it? This thing is good for $300 but it isn't as efficient as the Dometic and ARB. It definitely eats up the battery of my Jump Box and Solar Power Station. I got the low Voltage warning after keeping it plugged into my van for 20 minutes turned off while I topped off on fuel and got some stuff at pilot. If this last me a few years I'll be happy with it. Does what I want it too just not as efficient power wise as I thought it would be. Gives me an excuse to up my solar power. Automotive hobby is the worst thing you can be into for sure lol! I wish I didn't like cars and just drove a basic econobox. I do feel like I'm winning at life now though because I can have ice cream anytime lol.
