Try tuning the ESC, motor timing on these wheelie machines are set pretty high from factory, 22.5 stock motor timing referred to Spektrum Firma 6s electronics, set mine to zero and the power delivery is more responsive to my preference 🤙🏾

Max 6 is a great ESC, but the factory fan leaves a lot to be desired. You might wanna consider swapping out the stock fan for a ProTek 35x35x10 Aluminum fan/Part #{PTK-2113}. It's an easy, direct drop-in replacement with zero mods needed. It also has higher RPM's than stock, and a LOT more durable. Not very expensive either, around 20 bucks..

@@derekquinones8614 Yeah man, should drop right in, the wiring harness lines right up as well. Just make sure to check the polarity on the plugs +/- and you're good!!

Looked amazing. I think it did pretty good. Yea the heat issue, but man that thing is got plenty. I think if you were not on grass, it might of been much lower temps.

Those dirt shields up front are blocking airflow. I created very similar ones for my Rustler and temps went way up so I took them off.

I run a Hobbywing Max 6 1650kV and center diff stuffed with earplugs and STILL if im half throttle picking up speed and i punch it, itll just backflip. Ive never once got it to full speed cuz its just toooooooo wild.

How many teeth on pinion? I am about to do the same motor esc in my kraton and have a 15t and a 17t on hand. Do you run on 8s or 6s? I planned to do 6s

@@keldonator think its a 15t pinion but not sure and i run proline belted trenchers on 6s, 8s would just be undrivable

Nice! I found my servo saver needed a few circlips on the bottom to cinch up the steering. Bournemouth rc has a vid on it. 👍👍👍Also what about trying out some thicker diff fluid in center?

The badlands are hard on the motor, especially on grass. Should always drop down a tooth with those tires if you don't want to overheat the motor causing irreversible damage to the magnets. The non-belted badlands balloon too much. They should have used a harder compound. Such a shame.

I have the badlands on my regular Kraton 6s v5. They handle good. I do like the stock tires too, the copperhead 2.
