I'm reminded of an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V. Slight backstory: the show introduces a new form of the game called Action Duels, where Action Cards with randomly determined effects are scattered around the area and the players can find them to use. In one of the episodes, Yuya (the main character) faces against a guy named Edo. Towards the end of the duel, Yuya tries to grab an Action Card, but Edo makes him miss and gets the card instead. Edo uses it and is about to win the duel. Yuya is frantically running, looking for another Action Card. As he's running, he trips, but manages to turn the fall into a roll while simultaneously finding the Action Card he needs to win.

@@werisekk3 Going back to the Pidgey video, the main reason that Pidgey did worse was because it got absolutely stonewalled (icewalled?) at Lorelei, and needed to grind to Lv. 88 for that fight alone. Outside of that fight, Pidgey didn't really struggle nearly as much with the rest of the game (in part because so much level grinding was needed for Lorelei alone that the rest of the League was much easier). In contrast, while Zubat had some advantages against Lorelei, it definitely struggled a lot more with the rest of the game. So one could argue that Zubat is "worse" in some ways than Pidgey.

You probably get a lot of these comments but thanks for keeping this series consistent. Going through a bit of a stressful time at work and somehow coming home and watching you struggle with these challenges makes me feel a little better about my own worries.

This was incredible to watch. I do wonder how much easier it might be as a Golbat.

I love these longer videos! Especially when it's a struggle every step of the way. Your pain Jrose is the best entertainment ever!

I thought the 4 mid-battle switches from the the first Agatha battle was wild, but that Horn Drill at the end was unbelievable

I love these videos, your commentary is so on point that I listen to the videos while I'm at work and I can follow exactly what is going on during your runs without ever seeing the screen. After watching your videos I was inspired to try these myself. I decided to randomly roll 1-151 to determine which pokemon I run, and for my 5th playthrough... I got Ditto... lol.

Bro I’m heat for the whole ride. I have a season pass at this point. Thanks for the consistent top tier content. That last move was a beautiful way to end this mess of a run :)

I’d love to see you do a first gen run with a full team caught in game, just to see how you’d approach it after all this experience

I'm really happy to see Jrose putting even more effort in his videos - it's good to see him engaged with pokémon.

I'd love to see another BW challenge. I remember with Delibird you shared interest in the BW2 Challenge Mode. I would love to see an attempt on that. (Whether or not you use Zubat solo in that, that depends how masochistic you are lol)

I absolutely love ur vids man!!! ❤️❤️ Been subscribed for about 3-4 months and am always psyched when I see new Jrose in my feed. Keep it up man. P.S. For me the worst the Pokémon the better the video.

Oh man….honestly weird you didn’t get to this one before. Zubat is kind a special Pokémon for me. It is one I found annoying from the beginning, but at this point it is kind of a fun Gen 1 Pokémon that fits in the same space as old commercials in my brain. I’m just happy when I remember it exists even if I don’t really care about it in a meaningful way.

I think this is the 3rd time I've watch this run. Just wanted to say I did enjoy that speed commentary. And it's always ridiculous when moves like that work when they shouldn't. Everything going against it and it still being what clutched it. Still enjoybrewatching these, so keep up the entertaining work and as always looking forward to the next.

More like ZuBAD. I’m surprised that Zubat had some okay parts in the beginning, and it’s definitely nice to have Mega Drain at times where Pidgey really struggled (of course it doesn’t help that it came AFTER the hiker). Fantastic video yet again!
