I'm going to end up buying this for sure I just reinstalled my stock barrel after having the in lead we trust short barrel installed for the last year. I literally spent a year trying to get that thing zeroed and I couldn't. Very very finicky flyers all over the place, and in general the stri bog shoots so much nicer and has a lot less recoil with the stock barrel anyways

Oh and if u would do a vid of the modification u made to the fold down charging handle so it would fit with the rail extension. I have the extended rail and was looking at the fold down charging handle. Thx

The fold down charging handle is made by www.alhprecision.com/ I had to cut off the entire front section and shave it down. I believe I have a picture of the modification on my instagram

Thanks for the content! I did a double take on in the thumbnail this looks great. Reminded me of the extension I put on my AR with the a2 front sight. This turned out great for not a whole lot of $. Side note…would you edc the new Sig Macro? Not sure if the slide cut comp is a good idea for carry and you loose barrel length. Thank you!

Its roller delayed thats why the recoil impulse is less than your ar9

The JTAC web page says that a locking charging block must also be purchased for use on the SP9A1. Do you know why that is? Is i the new locking block also required for the other Stribog models (A3, K, Glock lower)?

My guess is the mounting system. It protrudes back into the channel where the charging block sits.

Is that a direct thread on for the suppressor? I have the SP9A3 and I know the threaded barrel is 1/2 x 28 but a Tri-lug adapter that I bought won't thread on, and it's also 1/2x28. I've heard that the Stribog threads are a little different. You have any insight to this?

My installation was not a standard installation since I have a non stock bolt handle.

I have same charging handle, so can you tell us what mod was needed to make this work?

Gotta chop off the front half, basically. The screws for the rail hit the handle and won't let the bolt seat. Have to cut it all the way back a little past the groove. But toof AR, and the block will bind in the channel.

I do, but I love the look of the monolithic style upper with just a bit of barrel. Showing. The snout is more streamline, but also gives It the more complete look. So really it just depends on the final look you want.

They sell versions with longer barrels, but I do not believe they sell a kit to put on a longer barrel

Why do you consider the Stribog “Com block” gun? The Czech Republic is not a “Com Block” country and the Stribog wasn’t even around or designed when Czechoslovakia (Com Block country) was a country.

The engineering and design features of that area tend to have a very specific look and functionality. The stribog mimics that look, and comes from a place that is a former Comm block country and thus could be said to find a heritage within that history.
