Great episode! I Love Drag Racing! lol. Too bad about the beautiful Mustang that crashed and cut the night short. I like Fords mostly, so I'm pulling for the Pinto, but I'm also impressed with the Gremlin. I liked the part at the car show. Both the Pontiac and Olds wagons were VERY cool cars, although I would have loved to seen more of the beautiful red mustang fastback with the white racing stripes (maybe a 67 or 68). You see a glimpse of the back end of it at the 1:10:00 mark of the episode. lol. Keep up the good work, your videos are awesome and I always look forward to them. 👍

1:00:45 valve cover leak you may want to use your original valve covers and go old school with cork gaskets or find another set of oem valve covers that are in good shape aren’t warped. Sometimes the aftermarket ones will leak unless you use Felpro rubber gaskets and factory screws instead of the t-bar ones you’re using.

It’s got to be those long T bolts, the vibration or harmonics makes them unwind. I think if you swap them for some short ones, you might be good to go.

I had those T handle bolts on a 1968 Javelin I used to race and they were ALWAYS coming loose. I was 16 and drove it to high-school and back every day. It had a 343 with a 5:13 rear gear. But anyway, I had to go back to the factory screws. Now you are bringing back memories Josh!! Thanks.

Those seals in the trans are probably getting hard, could try little brake fluid as a last resort to soften them up. My 350 did the same thing, had to let it fully warm up before going any where cause it wouldn’t go into gear when it was cold out. Drove couple years like that till it finally had a hard part failure.

It's funny, I watch other car channels like Dylan McCool and Vice Grip Garage. I'm always hoping to catch a glimpse of the Sleeperdude family in one of the videos, but it was starting to be like trying to spot a Sasquatch. Finally after 100's of videos, I caught a glimpse of the Gremlin in one of Dylan McCool's videos. Just a quick little shot, and I was like "Man this is like following bread crumbs in Hansel and Gretel". (Hope I spelled that right..lol) Then a couple of videos later, it happened y'all. There he was, Josh, in all his Sleeperdude glory, and Dollar Gentral and the Gremlin. I heard harps playing and the clouds opened up....and Josh cut a hole in Dylans turbo hose, and Sleeprduded his car. It was great......😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
