Hamas was chosen in 2006 since then the support of the Palestinians had only been stronger. Moreover according to a survey from 2022 87% of the Palestinians in the West Bank don’t believe that Hamas should surrender and give its weapons to the Palestinian authority, and believe that more malitias should be created. Peace is not a likely solution nor a two state solution. You can’t make peace if one side doesn’t want the other to exist.

Also I don't think children support anything, they are too young to understand. Also, yes it is one side that doesn't want a two state solution, and that side is Israel. Plenty of Israeli officials including Benjamin Netanyahu, have categorically rejected a two state solution. It is Palestinian officials that have said that they are willing to accept a two state solution. I can link footage coming straight from the horses mouth, proving my claims, if you would like, just say the word. It's all over the internet it's not hard to find.

As an Arab Muslim from Iraq, I used to hear a lot when I was young about Israel as a national state for the Jews, and I built up an idea that all Jews support Israel, but after I learned the situation well, I understood that Zion’sm and Judaism do not go together, because such good people like these taught that Judaism condemns the actions carried out by Zion’sm.
