This Judge, Timothy Walmsley is amazing. His Character is everything and it has nothing to do with the conviction or sentence of the Killers nor the color. Judge said something very profound "We should think about how we treat our neighbors and not just those in our surrounding neighborhoods" I agree! This shows something very unusual about this Judge, his character Integrity, and views the law to keep people safe. Thank you Judge Timothy Walmsley

Why? because he wrote a grand standing heart felt story that you politically agree with? Hes a mediocre judge throughout the trial. Some of his decisions were terrible. For example not clarifying the law. They couldn't agree with a particular jury instruction so he gave the entire jury the criminal statue for them to speculate on. He basically didn't do his job because juries are not suppose to speculate on the law, thats the judge's role. Juries are fact finders. Now hes crafting a story in sentencing that sounds good but completely contrary to what happened. Someone was burglarizing the neighborhood and a bunch of trigger happy idiots shot him. There are clearly no saints in this story yet thats the story people run with because its politically expedient to do so. Its not a fair representation of the events. The judge opened with Ahmed Arbery went out for a run and had to run for his life. That was never disclosed in trial. There was ZERO evidence that he went out just for a jog. There was every bit of evidence he was burglarizing the neighborhood. The McMIchaels however do not have direct knowledge of this so they do not have to right to conduct a citizen's arrest. Thats why its considered murder.
@danni1993
@danni1993 2 жыл бұрын
@@SourDonut99 What 'evidence' did they have that he 'burglarized' the neighborhood? There was video PROOF that he never even TOUCHED anything in the house. Did he have a cache of stolen items in his house? NO. Even the defendants said they never saw him steal anything. So, just where is your PROOF?

I will join the crowd in loving this Judge. When I listened to him pass judgement on these 3 racist killers I said to myself (out loud) "I love this man, I want to marry him, I won't have his children but I want to marry him." It was so evident that he was as appalled by these killers as the rest of the country that has both a heart and a soul. I am from GA and I know there are those that approve of what these killers did and all I can say is when you get to court, because your time will come, I hope your judge is just like this man. I would like to know when the police that lied to Ahmaud's mother about when and why he was killed will be held accountable. Initially they told her something to the affect that Ahmaud had been shot while committing a burglary. They knew that wasn't true. They told her that to further cover for the McMichaels.
@davea556

"?""that Ahmaud had been shot while committing a burglary."" Define burglary: entering a home vacant or otherwise without permission. Arbery was known to police as the Jogger thief and the police had video of Arbery inside casing the place on 3 previous separate occasions. Arbery's mother had called 911 because Arbery took her car keys and she told the responding police that her son suffered from a severe mental illness - if police confront him he will become violent. Enough said? 1 + 1 = 2. skin color is not a factor.
@timewarp691
@timewarp691 2 жыл бұрын
@@davea556 Here we go again. The law in Georgia says what Ahmaud did in that construction site was not burglary. And even if it was, Ahmaud was not shot "while committing any crime" he was shot while running down the street. It was proven in evidence that A. A. was not known as the jogger thief, even the owner of the property said that he had never stolen anything from the property. The evidence showed that what AA did amounts to "trespassing" at best. The police testified to that, the prosecution stated that multiple times, the property owner confirmed that nothing was ever taken by AA, and the Mc Michaels, on that day, didn't SEE him do anything but run down the street. You people always make up lies.

@@timewarp691 Judge defined Burglary for the jury. Entering a vacant building qualifies and we all know what Arberys intent was don’t we. Yes he was known as the jogger thief that evidence was part of the history the judge denied the jury to hear. And arbury suffered from a severe mental illness where Arbery admitted to hearing voices that commanded him to rob and hurt people. Arbery was prescribed medication that medication to control his violent reactions. However blood tests revealed Arbery was not taking his medication on the 23rd - Bingo !
