Tia Pringley The plaintiff doesn't actually get $1845, because both sides owed each other money the judge subtracted the amount the defendants owed from the amount the plaintiff owed, which is why the plaintiff has to pay the defendants $650 for the tolls. (Tolls): $2495-1845 (car payments)= $650. The cousins are stupid though, they have to pay the remaining balance on the tolls which is $1845( the amount they would have had to pay to the defendant if she had not racked up tolls/late fees), so in this case the plaintiff still won.

Adrian Beal in some states like Florida, they require drivers to pay a toll for you to take the highway which gets you where you need to go faster. if you do not pay the tolls, the camera takes a picture of your tag and the amount builds up. if it builds up enough, you will not be able to renew your registration.

They are not paying her $1800. She owed over $2400 in toll fees so the judge subtracted the $1800 from the $2400 leaving her to pay the defendants $650. They have to take that $650 plus $1800 out of their pocket and pay the toll fees. They just don't realize they still have to pay that or they will keep racking up charges.
