I love to hear CASA advocate for mom so strongly. I could see her letting him sleep in the car overnight but it's 3pm and she's having weekly pop-ups. The caseworker seems too involved in this case and sadly it seems like mom has some learning challenges but a disruption just to show whos boss is out of line IMO❤

I can see if the neighbour had fixed the battery him sitting in the car with it running. However i find it suss that he was willing to help a neighbour but has now blocked her and doesn't want anything to do with this.

I absolutely would block my neighbor if they said to me, after fixing their battery, that I now need to take off work and show up to court and be questioned by cps and lawyers. In a small town? Hard pass

Aww...I remember this mom! She used her phone to show the court around her place that she had recently got cleaned up. It was when she still had supervised visits and was hoping for some overnights. I was skeptical, but her explanations rang true to me without sounding contrived. I really hope mom is being smart. I agree with the judge, he defo looked methy!

I absolutely believe Mom. And I think Gilmore probably realized after seeing Chris on zoom that it wasn’t him at the home but was too ashamed and protective of her ego to admit it. Hearings like these are the reason ppl are terrified of CPS involvement in their lives and I don’t blame the neighbor for refusing to get involved (although his testimony would have ended this REAL quick). I wish the best for Mom and the kids. It sounds like she has goals she’s working on and I hope she keeps fighting! ❤

Watching this video- let me tell you how I absolutely KNOW how this mom feels! To do everything you know have and have to do you do it for your kids no matter who has to be gone !!! This mom is scared to death that she is going to to forever lose her kids even after doing all that. And it only takes One person or accident that can destroy all that by them! Mom you got this!! Take all this and learn from it and be mom you will be wonderful!!! Find the silver lining in all this and make this a major learning lesson!!! It can be done. I am here with my kids. Here’s my take: I believe the mom but I am lucky that I do. Imagine believing that she did it and CPS did this so crappy. CPS failed. They didn’t follow up with dad, dad’s employer, the neighbor, or do the correct legwork to make contact. She quits trying to make contact. What terrible work for CPS to actually address this. This is the type of CPS work that makes CPS look bad. It makes them look bad because they don’t do the work they should and then kids die. It makes them look bad because they persecute parents who aren’t doing anything wrong. I am just mortified. This is one of the worst CPS worker actions I’ve ever seen.

It’s very clear that if somebody exits a vehicle, & walks the opposite direction away from you, all you are going to get is a picture of the back of them!! I don’t care how close you are to them!! We have a cps worker that use to live down the road from us. Her house was and still is so full of stuff from hoarding that she had to move out and rent another home. She was a miserable person in general. You can see from the road how full it is. Since she moved out she is now fostering a child. The whole situation seemed so confusing to me. She also admitted during our case that our worker asked her to watch my mothers home to make sure we were leaving at night.

She obviously was mistaken, I was behind her until she said “Chris and Mr cherry look nothing alike” Um, Ma’am, they do and we all see it 🤦🏼‍♀️ If she is willing to push her point/case that hard that she Denys that, then she’s trying not be wrong in what she saw in her own head, plus everyone else’s. The mum has worked very hard and just from her wording you can tell those dead beats have not been around her children. Kids get messy 🤷🏼‍♀️ I used to play in muddy frills and gave unkept hair all the time, and not all homes are clean and tidy, that’s just life and we all live differently 🤷🏼‍♀️ As long as the kids are safe & have all they need, ( Brooke said “the fridge and cupboards are always having food etc in them ) then they are just fine, let them be kids!!!! She goes out on a surprise visit every week to two weeks…. So the house got too a whole big old mess that now concerns you in a matter of days?! No! It’s the holidays and she has kids, damn can’t they just enjoy life as a family and get dirty if they like, they’ll have a bath, do all the holiday things, plus look after a 5 month old, all while just being happy! Not everyone has to live up to this “holier then thou” standard Mr Brooklyn 💁🏼‍♀️.

I was hoping to believe her, but she said her car didn't start they day before and she went and bought a battery. If her car didn't start how did she go buy a battery? And what truly made me doubt her is the neighbor is helping "fix" her car I would assume he had her car keys so why would the neighbor just abruptly walk away not returning her keys nor telling her if he fixed the car or not?? She said he went back and forth to grab tools earlier so he was also able to grab his tools that quickly too. And she knows the neighbor Mikey for awhile but he won't responded to her(then she saidnhe did respond but he wants nothing to do with the case, she's known his grandma a long time but doesn't have a phone number for neighbor "Mikey" To me it doesn't add up also the guy in picture looks like Chris just with a recent hair cut and looked like he had the same black hoody on during this hearing

I don't believe the mother was telling the truth about the man being there. I believe the caseworker did see him exit the car and walk away. Mr. Garner and the man in the FB profile do not look the same. They may have the same hair color, etc. but they don't have the same face. The attorney asking about the food for the puppy shows the mother trip up, she wasn't expecting that. The children know the difference between their father and their grandparents. I believe the mother thought her case was almost over and became complacent with the father dropping by. Ms. Potts made the most sense in her testimony. I just hope the mother will be strong enough in the future reinforcing her boundaries when it comes to the children's father.

That case worker is incompetent. She has zero follow through and bullied mom into signing a paper and then went and filed anyway. She may not have the authority to actually make that final decision but I am certain her word is what they went off of. She is asked if she tried contacting the neighbor, she made no attempt. If this man is such a threat, she would have done all she could to establish that she did in fact see garner. I do believe it was him in the car but I also believe mom is trying so hard to turn her life around to get her kids but some people seem to have it out for her.

First of all, finish the video and you might actually know what my opinion is on the case. Second, gut reaction to what I'm seeing is just that.. reaction. In real time as I edit. Many times that opinion shifts as it goes on and sometimes it doesn't. As for being biased, I'm not a judge. I don't pretend to be neutral. I find it amusing tho that because your opinion at the moment might be different, it must be me that is biased or judgmental.. couldn't just be a difference of opinion.
