That poor 5 year old boy feels the weight of the world on his little shoulders. I'm sitting here bawling- NO child should ever have to bare this kind of burden and trauma at his young age. He will be in my prayers. ❤

The father is so in tune with his children ❤. When the “mom” was talking about the kids, she made it all about her and jabs at the dad the entire time. The father gets enthusiastic and praises the improvements his children have made and talks about how great they are. He’s attentive, proactive, and involved. The mom really has zero sense about the needs of her children. I hope the father gets primary custody and the mom gets some serious help. 🙏🏻

As an education specialist, I can tell you that those kids need to stay with dad period! Mom needs to get off drugs and get her shit together. I have dealt with mothers just like her. I just want to point out how touched I am with the school staff. Many times the students get labeled “bad kids” and school staff don’t know what to do and don’t consider their home life. Many times teachers and staff get frustrated and don’t have the resources and patience to focus on one child and have to try to focus on not letting the other children get distracted or affected. I’m impressed in the schools handling of this and think every school should know how to assess home issues and handle children in situations like this accordingly instead of sending them home every time they act out. This child needed some love and understanding and I appreciate what the school staff did for him. This should be standard.

@@dananuspl618 thank you for recognizing this…I’ve taught K-1 for 30 years and cannot begin to describe how willing teachers and admin are willing to help and invested in each child’s success. I just saw one where someone was in bed half asleep, some where they're driving around, walking around, smoking etc. And others where they don't have to be on camera at all, but just audio. Then, I just saw one where mom couldn't figure out her camera and actually literally used the "chat feature" to write her responses and the judge and everyone would have to wait for her written responses!! Unbelievable. I always wish the judge would call then out when they're driving and such. So inappropriate!

WTF? Every authority that was supposed to protect those children FAILED miserably! It’s gross negligence that the mother was granted primary custody for so long and was allowed to neglect and emotionally abuse her children in such egregious ways! And nobody informed the father of ANYTHING that was happening to his children! The school, the court, CPS, what level of incompetence is going on when this clusterphuck is allowed to happen? Why wasn’t the dad informed for so long and why didn’t he have a say in any medical decisions? Outrageous! I’m about to tear my hair out it’s so infuriating! 🤬

This has always been my experience with people and agencies that are supposed to protect children. Currently, there is a woman who is physically abusive and neglectful. She lives away from everyone where they are isolated from society. The children only have ramen and soda, do not go to school, have never had friends, have never had a Christmas or birthday present (the mom gets presents for everyone's birthday), have never had friends, and have not had a working sink in their bathroom for over 10 years. The mother has men in her bedroom while the children try not to hear. The money the government sends and child support are spent on herself for Disney trips, vape, and gifts. She has an explosive temper and knocked out the front teeth of the. father of the youngest. He finally left after months of sleeping on the couch while her current favorite sleeps with her in his bed. He was the only one working, but she controlled the money and only gave him eough for gas to go to work and back. She met her new love on line and doesn't even know his name. He goes by Lucifer. The middle child snuck out two separate times while her mother slept, took her phone, and called police. When CPS showed up they didn't enter the house. They just asked the mother if any of the allegations were true. Of course she blamed "her bratty teenage daughter." There's more, but this is already too.long.

The mother absolutely REFUSED to lift a finger to help her very obviously troubled son. The behaviours that were described are EXTREMELY concerning for a child that age and that poor child should have been referred to some kind of psychiatric treatment/ mental health support! Cases like these make me despair for the children involved because they are going to continue to suffer and nobody will ever do anything. So terribly sad. 😞

Im a school bus driver and my first permanent route was a special needs route. This young man sounds like he is likely on the spectrum of some sort from what everyone is saying. Especially when dad says “he says he doesn’t know where to put this on the counter”. That young man needs so much support that he will not get with mom. Mom sounds schizophrenic and like she’s on drugs. (I’m writing this comment only 3/4 way through this portion).

@@user-yj9gl3ur6cit always baffles me when I hear parents say that when their kids were babies that that was the easy part of raising them. Absolutely not!! That is the formative years that you teach structure and boundaries and respect (both ways) and good habits, and empathy, unconditional love, and the building blocks to a good education etc etc. it’s in no way “easy” if you’re being an actual parent. Too many people just stick their kid in a bouncer or high chair for hours at a time with zero interaction. If you’re raising your kids right, you don’t get a “break” until they are competent, fully functioning adults with a good head on their shoulders.

I can’t wait for this judge to get that smirk off of “mommy’s” face. 🙄 this dad is great. She has tried to tear him down as much as possible and it’s always easy to see who actually has their best interest at heart when they actually want their children to have access to adults who can counsel them and still want to facilitate a relationship with the other parent even tho they shouldn’t be with that other parent full time. He clearly cares about his children, isn’t trying to alienate them from adults who care about them and he shows up when it really matters. And just because. Dad is doing the best he can with as much as he can. He cannot make their lives perfect while she still has access to just remove them and remove all the progress they’ve made and when she keeps him out of school and starts the process all over again with keeping him behind. Mom is straight up keeping her son behind and struggling. Period.

As a mom of 3 boys, one with severe ADHD, on multiple medications, has an IEP at school (no behavioral parts to the IEP just academic) and just overall takes more time , attention and instruction I find this "mother" and I use that term VERY LIGHTLY, to be extremely neglectful and abusive. She has zero care or thought for the consequences the kids have to deal with for her laziness, inattentiveness and chaos that she brings into their lives...very selfish and destructive to them..she needs NO CHILDREN IN HER CARE..Also, in my state and I thought was more a federal requirement, if your child does not attend school, 10 days absent or a mix of absent and tardy I believe (not really sure because all of my children go to school everyday) then the PARENT GETS CHARGED FOR THE TRUANCY OF A CHILD! Or do like I did. Leave a good women and have a child with a woman who barely sees her son. She bounced when he was 10months old 3 days after a work fall I had left me unable to walk. Luckily I was able to walk later but I've had our son 100% of the time since she left. Granted bloodwork showed my sons blood type doesn't match mine or his mom's but to my son and I it didn't matter. His mother doesn't know that we know the truth but she will never try for custody as she only wants to see him when she gets a new man and wants him to think she's an amazing mother.. I fell for that trick in the beginning.

Because, in general, people refuse to admit and see that women are just as capable and likely to be violent, abusers and the aggressor, even more so to children, as men. Women are statistically more likely to abuse or kill their own children. But.... The legal system and a large portion of society in general, refuse to admit or acknowledge this fact and only even agree to a woman's guilt in a case like Shanda Vander ArK, Jodi Arias (not to kids though) Hell, even Casey Anthony got away with murdering Kaylee, because she was "too pretty" and didn't "look capable" and people were more comfortable believing her lies that her father S.A'd her and had something to do with Kaylee's burial, if not her death. (He just recently took a polygraph showing he did nothing of the sort, and Casey lost it when she saw the show). Women will make all kinds of accusations against a man about r@pe, SA, S. Harassment, assault, etc. because people will believe that she is a victim easier than admitting she is the aggressor/perpetrator/abuser/killer/etc. They cry, and use the "I am just a little girl, and he's so much bigger than I am..." and they abuse the battered woman/wife syndrome defense to get away with their behavior. Women hit men, grab them s3xually, destroy property, etc, right out in the open in front of people/cameras etc with zero fear of being arrested. 9 times out of 10, she won't be. She turns it around on him. It's gotta change, and people need to treat women the same as men when they break the law.

I understand! My mom was dealing with her deep trauma and own mental health issues when I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression at age 5. It severely stunted my mental and emotional growth... I felt I had to anticipate her emotions in an attempt to keep the peace. I still do this, but I realize how unfair it is to me. I have no personal identity, as I learned to mask and Fawn to "keep the peqce" and to hide what I was experiencing because it was always faced with harsh advice or "why are you like this?" I'm 31 and have had my fair share of my own trauma. I am furious. It was not fair how I was treated. I was a child with mental illnesses, not a burden. And now I'm having to develop my own identity and pay attention to myself (which causes severe anxiety bc it feels like how I felt back then... I stayed out of attention) to learn about myself and become emotionally stable. BUT I'll say I am so glad I always have used protection. I am in no position mentally and emotionally to become a mother.

While I will always have compassion for someone struggling with severe mental health, this woman isn’t stable enough to care for herself, let alone 2 innocent, vulnerable, totally dependent children. The courts failed these kids by dragging their feet moving them to the clearly more stable parents custody. These kids didn’t have to go through all of what their mother has put them through through, she has permanently harmed both of these kids mental and emotional health and thus will inevitably have to revisit therapy through all the stages of their lives to be able surmount that damage their mother caused to them during their most informative, crucial childhood development years. Dad is a ROCKSTAR. He may be imperfect, as we all are, but he has proven to the courts AND his kids, repeatedly as many times as the courts NAD his kids have required him to, that their best interests are always at the forefront of all he does as a parent. Their kids should remain in dads custody for the remainder of their minor lives.

Equal under the law. Treat men equally as they do women. If one parent is out of their mind, unstable, child lashing out, so selfish to affect the relationship between the child and the other parent, then they should be held accountable, responsible and punished accordingly to the law. When the selfish, self centered, entitled, manipulative, liar parent plays games remove the child and place them into the other parent’s custody. Mandatory mental health, therapy and emotional treatment. Poor kids, and father. Dads need to always get attorneys.

Yes - it’s normal for elementary to start at 7:45, here in Texas. Middle school starts a little later, and high school even later - which I think is really smart, especially for the high school students. It also allows for fewer school buses in the fleet. Every district (town/city) is independent, though, so it’s not a state rule.
