Judge Michelle Sisco said she'll be haunted for the rest of her life by the evidence in the double-murder case. Ronnie Oneal III will officially spend the rest of his life behind bars for the double murder of his girlfriend and daughter. The judge handed down 3 life terms, plus 90 years for the 32-year-old's sentence in Hillsborough County court Friday following the reading of a victim impact statement. Oneal will get credit for the 1,224 days he's already spent behind bars.

The judge's words were not scathing enough. She should not have complimented him on being his own attorney. What was that all about?! It was truly pathetic. The precious victims will be in heaven and he will be left to himself in outer darkness where he will weep and wail and gnash his teeth for all eternity over what he has done. His conscious will sear his heart and mind with unquenchable fire forever and ever.

That’s eerily similar to the words spoke by the judge in Florida who oversaw the Bundy case. He got the death penalty and this monster should’ve gotten the same. As if murder isn’t bad enough, murdering a child should be an instant death sentence.

No, it's never a waste of breath to stand up for the weak and to pass sentencing after the case is proven beyond a shadow of doubt. Ronnie's reaction to it is irrelevant. What's priority is that the family, neighbors, friends, & etc... can feel some closure.

I really don’t get it. What about the world we live in or scripture that makes up religion, or the vast majority of cases and history of what happens when people really act as if they believe they have god on their side makes you think that if there was a god he would be loving? We live in a world of suffering, in nature animals live in fear, often being eaten or having to eat other alive to survive, disease and famine kill thousands daily, what little help doesn’t come from magic or miracles they’re done by people. Those few places that still rely on god, people suffer and die horribly. Then, to take someone’s actions and give the credit to your god as if he possessed her is just gross.

He even belittled his own child during the cross examination which I can’t even believe they allowed him to cross examine his son..Talking down to him being adopted. Saying do you remember when your mom was shot did you hear your mom getting shot. Calling his son a liar pretty much. Talking down on him for the information he gave to police. Saying don’t you remember the fun you had. He believed he was “ordained by God,” that he was invincible. He said he spoke to God and I look alone. But I am backed by a mighty God” I’m like. Malcolm X. The only time he will ever feel remorse will be for selfish desires.. What’s even worse is a couple months before the murder he flatlined four times and was revived.. He actually shot her after an argument about religion. He even made his son speak to god around the house and say stuff why the murderers where taking place. Asking his child to hold the gun and get knifes for him. It’s incredibly beyond horrific, so unbelievably heartbreaking. He even tried to frame his son for the murder. He was also brought up and raised in the church, grew up in a stable home, he even sang for the church choir and was involved in the Reserve Officer Training Corps and also worked for Build Your Community, which advocated against guns and inner-city violence. And even he tried to join the U.S. Marine Corps, but repeatedly failed an entrance exam. Now In jail, complaining he spoke of people trying to kill him, of jail staff trying to poison his food and of seeing energy waves. He only cares about his self. I’m not one of his trials did he ever have any remorse. He will only be sorry for his own selfish desires. @@truthmattersjesusiscoming6460 look I was raised southern Baptist I’m no atheist hipster. I’m just saying people all to commonly blame drugs or mental illness or the devil when they get caught. People need to own up to their actions. They are just bad. I have a million excuses to do bad things if I wanted to. I’m diagnosed antisocial personality disorder (sociopath) and I use substances daily. Although I know right from wrong just like them. The difference is I think of the moral consequences of doing bad things. I would have loved more than anything to slowly dispatch my neighbor for shooting my cat. Would have enjoyed it. Although I think about standing in front of God having to account for why I took a life. I don’t like the thought of that. So it keeps me on the semi straight and narrow. I could blame things on the drugs. Although I’ve never had a original thought while on drugs that I didn’t have when I was straight. So to recap drugs don’t make you all of the sudden want to do bad things, mental disorders like being a sociopath is no excuse to do bad things because i am one and I can decipher what’s right and wrong. Finally demons are not going to come into your body physically. It is a metaphor for mental illness and impulsive actions. Back in the day they used to confuse mental illness like schizophrenia as demon possession. Think back then they didn’t have the ability to diagnose or even know what schizophrenia was. All of the sudden someone starts acting off the wall talking backwards screaming at someone who isn’t there. Of course they are going to think it’s a demon. God gave us a brain with free will and common sense. My common sense tell me there is no demon possession going on just bad choices from bad people.

@@thenonlawyer3127 That is not necesarrily true. Men are not just passed around for cigarettes. His case made the news. He'll be isolated as a result. If he does decide to later join general population, he'll probably be fine. His crime will only come up if he gets into with another inmate or breaks one of the rules put in place by fellow prisoners to keep the peace. Prison is no longer the place of rap³ or automatic hard time if your crime is against women or children. That stopped long ago. It's too much consensual $ex in there to risk additional charges for rap|ng someone. You're more likely to get assaulted (or threatened with it) if you're in there for a non violent crime (drunk driving, fraud) as you're then easy prey and easy to extort. As someone who knows people on all sides of the prison system (attorneys, CO's, current prisoners, prior prisoners, lifer) the ways of old are no longer true. I know an attorney who ended up in prison that had a way harder time than someone who was there for a child related crime (a now registered offender). If this man ends up passed around, it won't be because of what he did. That narrative exist to make people on the outside comforted thinking they're having a horrible time or they're (prior prisoners) tougher because they avoided it. Most in prison will tell you it's harder for the family on the outside than it is for them. They have no worries (bills, job, etc) outside of repetition and wanting to move freely. Outside of that....

Understandable emotion, but flawed in its practical consequences. It would require a civilized citizen to stoop to a level of incredible, debasing, inhumane cruelty in order to exact that kind of sentence - quite apart from the problem that in order to properly retribute here, you can't kill a person multiple times, or even come close to inflicting the kind of terror and betrayal that the victims had to endure. It would never be satisfactory revenge, won't undo the harm, and cost the humanity of whoever are involved in carrying out the sentence.

I recognize a mental illness that has gone untreated for a long time, IF it was even DIAGNOSED AT ALL. He ABSOLUTELY DESERVES PRISON FOR WHAT HE DID. However, this is an excellent example of the things that can happen if mental illness goes UNCHECKED. Prisons are filled with people who have committed horrible crimes; but they are also filled with people who have untreated serious mental health problems, and in many cases, never DIAGNOSED. There was a time when you could go to the hospital that specialized in mental health and see a doctor to be treated. Our government shut them all down (1980). When things like that happen, society suffers. The people who deal with Mental illness and their families SUFFER MORE. PRISONS ARE THE NEW MENTAL HEALTH HOSPITALS. Now, I’m not saying this guy doesn’t deserve to serve time; I am just pointing out that people who have a serious mental illness get locked away without getting much needed mental health treatment.
