@Zaynab Azhari poor guy? Do you think it is okay what he did? What a sad human being you are if you think this is a poor guy. He made a choice to kill the mother of his children, his daughter, and he tried to kill his son. Having to pay for him to live, eat, and laugh at us, is disgusting. It is strange that you call him a poor guy and are, at the same time, happy I am angry and disgusted. I love my family and would die for them, he chose to murder his family. If someone were trying to harm you, I would do my damnedest to fight for your life, a stranger, but you feel sorry for someone who would just as soon kill a stranger like you? Your mind is a very curious, and dangerous place. I will pray for you.
@lhkraut
@lhkraut 2 жыл бұрын
@Zaynab Azhari I did pray for you, whether you believe it or not. I do not have hate in my heart for him, but justice is not served by letting him live. Yes I know what happened to him when he was five, but that has nothing, nothing to do with what he did to his own children, and mother of his children. He did not attack the sexual abuser, he attacked innocent people. All of us have had bad things, even horrible things, done to us in our lives, but he did this as an adult to the innocent. Sorry that you think you know what is in my heart when you do not know a thing about me. It is really sad that you think you can judge me with no knowledge of who, or what I am, but you choose to side with a murderer. I really hope you meant life without the possibility of parole. At the very least, he should never be allowed to be a threat to anyone ever again. We are not going to agree here, I can clearly see that. For the moment we still have the right to disagree, but I doubt this world will allow that much longer. Take care.
@lhkraut
@lhkraut 2 жыл бұрын
@Zaynab Azhari I whole heartedly agree. Then why is killing the mother of his children, the murder of his daughter, and the maiming, and attempted murder of his son not on the same level? I believe rapists, and murderers, deserve the death penalty. Being the victim of a crime at someone else's hands does not give you the right to hurt other people.

Nope sorry I would’ve been that juror. YES HE DESERVES the death penalty. But also- no he doesn’t. I honestly can’t believe how many people still think it’s like they see in the movies from back in the day. In my opinion, that one juror understood the legal system and was the one to make sure justice was served here. Prosecutors asked for death bc that’s what looks good to the public. you might want to educate yourself on OUR actual prison system. If he had gotten the death penalty, he actually would’ve been way more protected and cared for in prison. He also would’ve gotten more appeals and more public attention for many years, as well as having to call the son again, yes if there was an appeal granted.. because that means you have to try the case all over again. If he had gotten the death penalty, he would’ve had cushy safe accommodations, protected from general population..And years that his son would’ve had to hear about his multiple appeals, and probably even more tv interviews. This way, he gets treated like all the other thousands of inmates locked away thrown away the key. He is not granted any special concessions, he is not granted special food, he is not granted protection from thousands of other inmates, he is not granted multiple appeals, he does not have a story that wants to make the news over and over again throughout the years because he was such a character, and he got the death penalty. This way he will get to know what it feels like to be around men who don’t just prey on women and children. These types of narcissists are truly cowards, he will live every day of his life no matter how many days that is- AFRAID. He will also get to know what it feels like to be forgotten. Versus in the limelight leading up all the way to his last moments. I know there’s some cognitive dissonance here because he is the worst of the worst. But the way that our death sentencing system goes right now, him getting life in prison instead is honestly carrying out much more justice and punishment for him, while still keeping the public safe.

As a criminal justice and psychology double major, many of the jurors took into account his traumatic experiences prior to making a decision. These factors such as his experience with rape as a child are then seen as an example of rehabilitation that should be given to offenders including programs in prison that can be put in place to render the mental health of certain offenders. However, correlation does not imply causation, meaning that although he and many others may experience such trauma, it doesn’t mean that others who have had these experiences will commit such heinous crimes. We can assume that many who are against the death penalty are also taking into account the excessive rates of wrongful deaths that also occur when using the death penalty.

What he did to his son, who now must live with all he saw happen at the hands of his own daddy, and what his own daddy did to him, is so outrageous and disgusting. I pray for that poor surviving child. Thank God he’s been adopted by a loving family in law enforcement. This child really touched the heart of all the officers he met through this tragedy. Well, as my earlier opinion... I am satisfied that at least one juror was not being emotional, but based on the case and his mental issues gave him life. Personally, I would like to see the death penalty for Pedophiles, they take the innocence of children. Many end up on drugs, suicide or become murders or even abusers.... This man suffered as a child, then had some type of snap because of more trauma. Looks like he wanted to kill them and himself... At any event, I pray he can get mental help, which leads to his remorse, which can help his son and the family heal. If we say death at all cost, drug dealers to one who overdose, drunk driver who kills in an accident, etc should all die too... But we don't kill them, so definitely, if one has mental health issues, should not get death, but life without parole. Without parole because we know the system does not cure illness, in fact, prison make even more harden criminals. I pray that those who followed this case pray for his son and the family. That they do not walk in guilt... However, they should use their voice to enlighten others to take Mental Health serious. Grace and Peace🕊️

We need to lock the door, throw away the key and honor the lives he ruined or damaged such as the son and the family of that beautiful lady and her daughter. It is the son and the family that need consoling, not pushing the race agenda in their faces to give them one more thing to be hurt or angered by. God bless the souls of the innocent and I hope those left behind get help to heal so they can be there for each other. Blessings and peace to you as well Rose. Blessings and peace.
