The judge had his fragile ego shattered by a teenager whom he felt disrespected him. If your ego is that fragile you have no business being in control of destroying people's lives on a daily basis. Think of how many lives have been needlessly destroyed by the judge and his fragile ego. Now we have to question how many people he found guilty are actually guilty. Every case he has overseen needs to be reviewed.

The behavior displayed by someone who is supposed to uphold the law is deplorable. Detaining, shaming, and vilifying a teenage girl simply because she "fell asleep" is exactly what our system should avoid. This young girl was not an at-risk teen being scared straight; she was a student willingly participating in enriching educational experiences despite facing the challenges of unstable housing. This situation represents an abuse of power and authority, with little regard for her well-being. If this is the lesson he believes he is imparting to a young girl, I question the fairness of his judgments towards adults. If this reflects the level of disgust and contempt he holds for children, I can only imagine what awaits others.

Hey, Your Honor. Your narrow minded, megalomania has served you well. You got exactly what your inflated ego was screaming for. ATTENTION. Now YOU are the story. Good work. Here is possibly an alternate way to have handled the situation, if I may be so bold, knowing that teenagers are notorious for not getting enough sleep, (which never entered your mind), you could have ask the young lady if she was getting enough sleep, and if not, why not? Maybe there is a situation at home that needs attention. Did you ask her about her home life? NO! You sized her up for a prison uniform and handcuffed her. A thousand thousand possible scenarios. And NONE of those possibilities entered your closed mind. Maybe time to wrap it up Judge. Maybe spend some time with your grandkids or take up fishing or something. ANYTHING but running a courtroom. The decision you made regarding this teen is proof positive that you DO NOT have what it takes to be an effective adjudicator so please, do the citizens of the county a favor. Hand in you resignation. Open the position to someone who honors the promise they made to uphold the Constitution. To be good at what they do and not get butt-hurt by a situation where a sleep deprived teenager, (all teenagers are sleep deprived Your Honor), (don't take my word for it. Ask any school councilor or psychologist), triggers you do do what you did. Jesus H. Good Christ All Mighty Judge ! What were you thinking ?

This Judge is a Violent Criminal and a Menace to Society and should be sitting in pre-trial detention, facing Life without Parole (and that would still be lenient, as the Law actually asks for the "ultimate punishment" for a Kidnapping committed under the Color of Law).
