A little off topic, but prophesying about jury outcomes reminds me of the first I ever considered it. We read To Kill a Mockingbird in high school, and it was noted that a jury never looks at a defendant that it has just convicted. I always wondered if there was any truth in that. Any thoughts?

Calling occupations like judge or politician ‘public service’ is grotesque. These are careers solely for the rich and privileged and their purpose is to maintain their status and specifically not serve the public but themselves. Public service would be a teacher, coach, nurse, et cetera.

Karen Read case: Very complicated.. If she's guilty, there should be due justice, but the comment " I deserve everything I got coming" is ABSOLUTELY something law enforcement and co correctional officers use frequently. So that makes me give a side eye to the prosecution. I just don't believe Read said those words.
@maddieadams754 ай бұрын
I watch a lot of trials, Karen Reads is not guilty. I’ve been a juror in 2 trial and served on a GJ. My first trial was a hung jury 5-7. One juror was so mad at me that I wouldn’t convict, she told me a sin, is a sin, is a sin. She wasn’t happy when I mentioned sin wasn’t on trial and isn’t evidence. Just a little insight on why hung jury is really important. Thank you Joshua for discussing about winning is not always the answer. ❤

Dude. Are you kidding? They took a laptop that belonged to the man their daughter killed in order to either hide or destroy evidence or give her an advantage in court. How can you possibly be so naive? Framing it as “gee willikers, they were just twying to hewp their daughter….” comes off as …. I don’t know… not great for the way you perceive that family as innately innocent. This is an issue that, like it or not, is almost without a doubt going to come up during this trial.

I just can’t jive with the fact he was dropped off and she leaves and the officers beat him and decided to set up a woman who was nowhere ear the “crime scene” and that she’ll even be blamed for it.. how would they add that up. Nope.. after hearing those voicemails and the fact she drove so fast in reverse I’m convinced she had something to do with it whether intentionally or not or out of rage and drunk was and did t realize it idk but I’m not with the conspiracy on this one. I wouldn’t bend if I were on that jury either.

It is frustrating that no news media has covered how the whole case really begins. With Yanetti saying it was an accident, at the pretrial hearing. Her father in an interview repeating karens words to him " Daddy, I think I hit something" Her text to Yanetti " I didn¨t think I hit him that hard" !! In the beginning they all knew it was an accident, until they begin to spin this heinous conspiracy theory, accusing innocent people! That is almost worse than the crime it self! And a lot of civil lawsuits are about to be served, as soon the second trial is over. And by the way, they should revoke her bond, so she can't do anymore harm, together with blogger Turtle Turd! They are shameless people. Turtle boy cursing at John O'kefes mother, WHAT is wrong with this man and the people who chooses to follow this behavior. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!! And I hope The ABA will look into it, bc Yanetti and Jackson also have something to do with this , behind the scenes. Leaking information to Turtle Boy. How can people, the FKR, just choose to turn a blind eye to all of this really bad things going on? And all these obese housewives, frustrate with their own boring lives, put all those feelings into this absurd cult like, free Karen Read . They do not give a shit how Peggy is being treated by them, and they 100% all wear a cros around their neck... it's just SICK!
