The plaintiff and her husband say she’s been friends with the defendant for 15 years, and they claim the defendant has been harassing her husband relentlessly for years. They’re suing her for harassment and the value of a TV. The defendant insists the plaintiff’s husband is abusive to the plaintiff and his children. She’s countersuing for harassment.

By the plaintiffs body language, her friend isn’t lying. Whenever she gets the chance to speak you can tell she don’t want to lie to JM but she is afraid to go against her “man”. I had to let a friend go almost a year ago because she was in an abusive relationship and I just couldn’t deal with the mental till it took on me when she dumped all her problems on me. When I would tell her to think about her kids, she’d tell me “they know that hitting women is wrong.” Buuutt they’re SEEING it. They’re AROUND it and they aren’t out of the situation. I even told her to put him on child support and leave him. She said that going through the courts isn’t worth it. I hope she’s doing well, but I had to wash my hands.
