The sad part as Judge Mathis asked the mother about the burn and even til that day in court she did not know what happened. This should’ve been burned in her memory after having this brought up by DHS. The grandmother is helping but unfortunately it’s hard to be stuck in the middle of their drama. Yes they clearly used this child and legal system as a means of warring with each other. They for that child and had no intentions of returning until AFTER the wedding. That was the plan all along. That’s why they were inconsistent with the dates and specifics of the timeline. Yes the mother probably was jealous of the wedding. But you can’t go days without communication while having possession of the child. So she rightfully went to the police for assistance. They noticed the burn, but didn’t file until weeks later. And yet, they still haven’t filed for full custody. Yeah. The wife laughing at the end is all I needed to know.

I’m sorry, but JM rules on his own emotions, not always the facts. Judge Judy would have got all the facts and that’s it. 1. If the daughter was scared to go home, why didn’t they call the police? 2. Why he don’t want custody of his daughter if he feels like she is being abused? 3. What are the dates on those charges the wife brought up? 4. The 4th to the 15th is 11 whole days to not make one single phone call to an attorney or the police yourself to file charges or a report of abuse. All these folks playing games. Cause why this woman get all her kids back? If she is not fit, then sue for custody of your child.

What doesn't makes sense is until the child was reported missing they had all intentions of returning her to an alleged abusive home. He said he spoke with her on July 4th and mentioned nothing about the burn. Idk this whole situation sounds a mess for those kids ... the mother side and father side included. For the record you can kidnap your own child especially when they take the child out of state and do not return the child when they were suppose to. And you can go to prison for it.
