After being a fan of The Seekers for over 50 years, the passing of Judith has not only been a very sad event in my life and many others, but has also suddenly made me very aware of my own advancing age and mortality. Judith's long adventure through this life is now over and she's at last reunited with Ron in her eternal life, while I still have a few steps left to go on my own journey. Bon Voyage Judith and thanks for all the wonderful music and memories!!

I live in distant Poland and in the 60's it was difficult with music from Australia. Nonetheless, some of The Seekers' songs, which I picked up more at the time by the original sound of Keith Potger's guitar in those songs, reached rarely. The great love for The Seekers began when I heard their song The Carnival is Over. Unfortunately, The Seekers disappeared in Poland for 30 years. Only I could hear them again, but also see them in Net on KZbin. Then I cried because I was parting with the young group and suddenly people over 30 years older. It was a shock for me, but I intensively started to make up for the lost years and collected almost all my favorite songs of this band. I also bought a two-disc CD album. Over the years, alongside The Beatles, Carpenters and Pickettywitch, The Seekers of Judith Durham has become my most favorite band. Today, in great despair, I say goodbye to this wonderful singer, Judith Durham, about whose death I also learned from KZbin because the Polish media did not mention this fact, which for me is also very sad. Hello Her Memory ....

My Mom bought one of the Seeker's albums in the 1960s. The album features a picture of the Seeker's on the front of it with Judith sitting across a bench and fellow Seekers members surrounding her. Judith reminds me of my Mom and vice versa. Both Mom and Judith are 5'2'' and both were relly into music and religion and were about the same age, and both were great people.. Lucky to still have the Seekers album and record today. Ironically, both Mom and Judith died in 2022. RIP to both Mom and Judith.

As a child of the 60s I grew up listening to the Seekers, and loved all their songs. Judith is and probably always will be, the greatest female voice to ever come out of Australia. Her vocal range was like no other, and her voice was so pure, that you could hear every word so easily. You never had to guess the lyrics with Judith's singing. A true God given talent, that not many in the music industry actually have, especially over the last 2 decades. Vale Judith. Thank you for sharing your amazing voice with the world. Condolences to her family and the Seekers.

@@stephaniestavropoulos1639 Each to their own. But many in the industry itself would beg to differ. Judith had a vocal range that surpasses ONJ in how many notes she could sing and her ability to not only sing each note, but hold the note as well. She was pitch perfect as this vid will prove kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2S4lpSLdqp1Y6c. But I am not here to argue with you on this point,. You can believe if you want that ONJ had the most angelic voice, and I am allowed to disagree. Sad that you had to come onto a post and video tribute about Judith Durham dying to give your opinion that you think ONJ is a better singer. I consider that incredibly tacky. But you obviously are an ONJ fan who felt the need to state your case on a tribute to Judith vid. Me on the other hand, I wouldn't even think of going on a vid of a tribute to ONJ to state I think that Judith was a way better singer and why I thought so. It's called having some decorum.

For me, The Seekers represent all that is good about music. Honesty, truthful, straightforward, genuine , and above all, authentic! Those marvellous dulcet tones of Ms Durham's voice, backed up by a true Band, shall stay with me forever. I guess in a way the carnival is over, but the music is everlasting!

I am privileged to have followed her and the boys since 1963. Her talent, her humility, her independence.. she was everything good about Australia.

Judith Durham and The Seekers have been a constant in my life since I first heard them in the early 1960's. I can't describe how much I love them all. Judith's voice gives me goose bumps. I am SO grateful to them. I Am Australian quite rightly reduces me to tears. They, like my beloved family, are an anchor in my life. R.I.P. Judith.

Judith. Rest In Peace. I have loved your voice since the first time I heard it in the 1960’s It was unchanged when I last heard you sing a few short years ago. Your love of singing made you luminescent. Love to you, to your sister and to the SEEKERS.
