Her voice is great but the arrangement should be sparse, not overloaded. I love Nat King Cole's live version (on KZbin). The best I've heard!

Nat Cole’s version is my favorite, as well. He’s the only singer who brings out the irony of the song. Great interpretation.

Yes to everything you said, intelegentable. However, I do not think she was helped in this recording by the arrangement. It's way too much, with all the interludes and the chorus. How I would love to hear her do this with just a piano, or maybe a piano & bass--really let the feeling & meaning come through. She's covered up by too much stuff. A rare misstep by her great arranger, Mort Lindsey. And the song is by Jimmy Burke and James Van Heusen.
