I do, most of them don't know how to do brows and some others do not have the right shade, my brows are exactly like hers, and I'm paler than her, and the problem is that if you fill them a little too much they look bad, if you use the wrong shade or right shade wrong undertone they look bad but they stand out too much, usually people with more brows can get with it and darker skin tones too, but yeah, most of them don't know how tk do brows haha

BLARG. so gross and to clean them or have disposable things would be so easy. Even not knowing make up hygiene, how do you take some of those gross brushes and say, "yeah, this will do?" I can literally never understand how they can't get your foundation Shade correctly!
@4jamminz
@4jamminz 2 жыл бұрын
Its not because they can't get her foundation shade correctly. Its more like these so called "makeup artists" usually do not have multiple shades of foundations to suit customers of different skin tones. All those costs add up. Therefore, they are only able to use whatever shade that they have.
@carlairving
@carlairving 2 жыл бұрын
@@4jamminz I'm no MUA in any way, but I have friends and relatives over the year who asked me to do their make up for occasions as they like it and know I enjoy it. So I bought some stuff- minimal really. To somehow fit all skintones, you really need like 9 different foundation. Super Light, medium, super dark, each in cold, neutral and warm tone. Heck, you can technically skip the medium and neutral - but mixing must be such a pain in the ass that I wouldn't do it. Same goes for hygiene. You don't need that much stuff for a clean, yet cheap and unprofessional make-up. Disposable mascara applicators, good quality brushes and cleaning/disinfecting products, and cue-tips will go a long way without giving anyone herpes or eye infection. I spent less than 60$ overall on products to do other's make up and did a lot, including a wedding ans several nights out. Everything else comes from my own personnal makeup products - except I bought 1 lipstick palette to be extra cautious. And yeah, got all of this on sales, so it cost me overall less that 50$US, and I could have got an even chaper brand of foundation loll

@@carlairving IDK about Ecuador but in the US you can get a large amount of disposable sponge applicatiors for eye makeup for a cheap price. It's not as good as using brushes but at least it's hygenic.

I had a friend who went to beauty school and wanted to be a makeup artist, except she wasn't very good at makeup. She literally wore her makeup like the Drew Carey blue eyeshadow lady with bright red lipstick and thought she really did something. She always did her makeup that way. After she finished beauty school she was having a hard time finding a job (wonder why). So I asked her to do my makeup before we went out for the night and she did my makeup exactly the same way she did hers, with no concern for my coloring, the shape of my features, nothing. Not everyone is good at makeup, but some think they are. I had to wash my face and do my own makeup before we left the house. I felt bad, but she knew it looked bad and didn't seem to mind. So, yeah... they're either doing looks they used to wear when they were young, or what they think they've seen on TV. It's weird the reality people create in their minds and I think we're getting a glimpse into how truly psychotic most people are. If you think too deeply into it, it can be terrifying. It's safer to believe that they're trolling us. I really hope they are, but I don't think so. These MUA's are delusional, living in an alternate reality. How many times have you gone to a hairstylist and got something completely different than what you asked for, with a photo and all, and they have the audacity to tell you it's your hair type? They're delusional and someone who loves them lied to them and told them they're "creative". Half the world is below average. That's a lot of people who need to work, too.

I love these videos! Judy is so great, I think I’m on her eighth or ninth video. The one thing that I don’t understand, and probably never will, is why do these people do make up when they’ve obviously never done it before? It’s like they’re experimenting on someone who is hoping to look better, prettier, more presentable. I’m not a make up artist in the least but even I know that you can’t put oil all over skin and then put a water soluble foundation on over it. Even I know that cleanliness is important, blending is important, and often with make up a little bit goes a long way. How do they not know that??? It’s crazy making, but that’s probably what makes these videos so entertaining and so fun to watch! Thank you again to the amazing Judy!

As she is applying the foundation, you can already see that the oil underneath is dissolving the product.. That's why she needed to keep adding more - fighting against the oil to get an even layer. And it's still patchy as hell. I am also astonished, that you were able to lift your eyelids up after all that's been put on them. I would cry my eyeballs out after having so much done on the eyes. First, pink blush application was nice though.. Too bad she didn't stop there. Oh! The eyeliner placement is absolutely marvelous, doesn't meet the eyelashes at all!

It's so awful how they try to tan your skin like it's already beautiful how it is, but it comes down to not having the right foundation colour. It's hard to find foundation for pale skin :c

I think MUA like these cannot accept the fact that they messed up and that it looks horrible that they keep going to prove that they did their best, it will take real courage to stop and to admit that they messed up and start over or not charge you. Judy, i am basic with makeup but I can learn how to apply makeup properly within an hour and Make you look great! Due to having eyes, common sense and MERCY to make you look good and appropriate for the public eye! 😇😆

This is what happens when your ego is larger than your talent and intelligence, though. This is half the world. There's a theory called Dunning-Kruger that basically says the less intelligent are unable to perceive their lack of intelligence or talent. It's a little scary to the rest of us.

Do you think “artists” like this try stuff and keep going with it just to end the train wreck or do they actually see it as they’re going thinking “yes, I can’t wait for the world to see this masterpiece!” ?

"There's this purple tinge to it so it's giving this cottage-core feel," 😆 that made me chuckle and the music when she went in with the foundation brush on her eyes was just beautifully timed . As a fair-skinned girl myself, I sympathise with the ommpah loompa vibes... The amount of times make-up counter ladies try to give me cool tone foundation so I can go home with this orange-hue is ridiculous.
