The castnet technique is a little extra, here's a way easier way for a net that small: Grab the net by the "neck" with your right hand and hold it up, then put the lead closest to you into the right hand. Grab a lead about 8-10 leads down in your left hand and hold it up. When you're ready to throw, let the loose leads swing behind you and use the momentum to toss the net like a frisbee, letting go of the left hand afterward. No need to put it in your mouth or use your forearm like in this video lol, this way is fast and simple. Grab the net, grab a lead, grab another lead, swing it out

Jug fishing is one of my favorite things to do...I get on the water before day light and set them out then bass fish for a couple of hours during sunrise and then go back and collect my jugs(hopefully full of catfish)...makes for an awesome couple hours on the water

You should do some bush hooks or trot lines too. Biggest fresh water fish I ever caught (nice catfish) was on a bush hook. Came back to check lines one time and the whole bush was pulled from the bank. Best guess is a snapping turtle. 👍🏻

You need to use a liter, preferably 6-8 inches for jugs but even 4 would work. It makes the hook up ratio 1000 times better.

I have a challenge for y'all. Do a survivor fishing challenge. Only thing you can use is that you already have, and that is line. You have to make your own tackle. Pole (stick) Hook out of whatever you can find. And you have to find your bait. Dig up worms or catch crickets or whatever. And you can add more difficulties to it by making it a food chain challenge. Make it good by bringing on all your regular special guest to compete in it.
