The warm water bottle (covered) and a ticking watch or clock remind any newly weaned animal of their mother's warmth and heartbeat. Learned this over 40 years ago from my grandmother, when she was given a kitten and a puppy by her grandchildren.

I love how Stephanie and Amaury tease each other. I grew up with a set a of 1st cousins that are as close as siblings. Eat off each other's plate to annoy? Yup I think Stephanie and Amaury are that close. In the states we call them pot pies (usually made from left over roasts) and if you love them you love them - especially in cold months. What do you all eat at La Lande during the cold months for comfort food. Is there a favorite soup or stew? Do you all ever make wassel (spiced cider hot drink).

Sandra Westley uk Pork Pies are not the same as pot pies, Pork pies are made with special pastry, contents are chopped pork, there can be a small hole in the top in which you can pour the jelly which sets around the pork, or some are made with the jelly just before you put the lid on.
