Kent, I really enjoy your videos. I watched you renovate your chuck wagon and noted that you were experiencing trouble with the different woods staining differently. The solution for this problem is to take new mineral spirits (not used) and Sand and Sealer mixing 1 to 8, with the 1 being the Sand and Sealer. If the mixture stays liquid and does not become solid, it is ready to use. This mixture is a pre stain, and applied to different woods will cause the woods to accept the stain evenly. Benjamin Moore seems to have the best Sand and Sealer for the job.

Hay ken , for folks that don't like or have no limes on hand, apple cider will also work as a tenderizer. People like my brother are allergic to limes and lemon, so I switched to cider or pear cider (when I can get my hands on some). Vinegar and wine can be used, but it does put some folks off, including me.

Great video, Kent! Love your warmth and energy. i’m gonna do some of these tonight on the old Weber kettle, not quite as elaborate as your set up, but I think I can make it work. I’ll just cook them indirect with the vents closed down a ways for about 20 to 30 minutes…… Then at the end, let them cook direct for about 30 seconds per side!

My 'twist' on kebabbing is to make separate skewers for each item, since they cook for different times. That way each veggie is done and the meat doesn't over-cook. Then I serve it all on a big platter so folks can grab what all they like. The side dish would be a beef rice. Thanks for sharing the GREAT menu idea. Those ribeyes look outstanding.

Where kabobs are from, beef cows didn't really exist. The usual meat was lamb, sheep (Mutton) goat, fish, foul, and goat, lots of mountain goats. Real kabob has yogurt garlic marinade meat, on the spike, tomatoes, onions, green peppers. When the skewer is cooked, dump into a bowl, make what ya need, add some fresh parsley and onions with a little sumac on them. Everything cut bite sized, I shouldn't need to say it, but I did.
