I needed this tip. Making bags is so awesome with my 2010q but the presser foot pressure is new to me. I'm going to try it. Thanks and I love your channel 💖

I love all of your videos. I’m very interested to see the new EB-1 buttonholer used on this machine and if the microlifter function helps in quality buttonholes.

Thank you for the video! I’m still a bit confused about the differences between the presser foot pressure and the microlifter. Does the microlifter just add extra lift to the presser foot or does it perform a different function than the presser foot pressure? My Janome HD9 does not have the microlifter, so I’m trying to decide whether I should replace it with the TL-18. It looks like the microlifter is going to help a lot with bag-making and quilting. Thank you so much in advance for your help. I love Juki Junkies!
@JukiJunkies2 жыл бұрын
The Micro lifter lifts the foot up completely off of the throat plate allowing it to go over thicker layers of fabric or straps with ease. The presser foot pressure just loosens the tension on the fabric with the foot but not to the extent the micro lifter does.

Thanks for the great video. I have never changed the pressure on any of my other machines so this is a skill that I will have to learn. Your instructions were great!!

Where do you get this awesome stickers? And is there a way to get that round metal plate beside the throat plate as spare part? In Germany our TL 2200 QVP is the only option we get without microlifter and it doesn‘t come with that round metal plate

Would I need a thick throat plate for my TL 2010Q for FMQ since the layers of cotton and batting can be quite thick. TIA

If I get bunching with my bobbin thread, is that because the presser foot tension is incorrect? Sometimes I'll be piecing quilting cotton and I'll hear a sort of click and the bobbin thread catches and bunches.

What does the back look like when using the skinny foot? Mine always looks bad. If I use a regular foot, no issues. It’s just using the skinny foot stitches are loose on the back. Front looks good.

Hi! we just did a video very recently on this exact topic. I would check that out :)
Can you do a video of what to do if your needle broke and it’s no longer sewing. I broke a needle and my machine only sew one stitch then it pretends to stitch but doesn’t. I cleaned the machine, oil it , change needle and still no sewing
