How do you guys figure out sleeping, showering and toilet situations while on the road? It'd be super fun to have a video on all the realities of car camp life! Oh and while you're on your trip, perhaps you can make a list and journal about the positives and drawbacks of this experience and talk about them + give tips!

from a girl whose hair is oily from the morning of the second day and desperately wants to be a once a week washer-i would love to hear tips on not showering for so long!! i’ve pushed the hair wash days to about every 3 days but the third day is soo gross and doesn’t seem to be getting better
@kay48292 жыл бұрын
I used to wash every second day cause my hair got greasy so quickly, I’m currently at about 7/8 days. I think you mostly just have to push through it - it can take a while, your scalp is used to producing a quantity of oils that suits how often you wash your hair (and the products you use), your body needs time to adjust to changes in that routine. There’s loads of diy treatments that can help and you can cover your hair with hats/wraps or use dry shampoo (corn flour works) in between if you need.

just want to say, i understand how difficult it must be as a very passionate vegan travelling with non-vegan, not having anyone to vent to about how frustrating it must be having so few options! it’s okay to feel mad at the world for being so meaty - i would struggle if i were you, eating the same bland bagel over and over because mcdonald’s doesn’t care enough to do better! in my country (england) veganism has grown hugely in the last few years so it’s very rare that i am stuck with this few options, for example mcdonald’s has a fully plant based beyond burger with vegan sauce and cheese etc, and pretty much every restaurant / cafe has a good few vegan options, if not a whole menu! i hope for everyone’s sake, and yours, that this starts to happen across canada and the US soon because i hate to see you missing out on so much!!!

Yes, please don’t wash your hair every day. It’s likely oily BECAUSE you wash it everday lol it’s overcompensating. You’re stripping it of its natural oils. If it’s really that deep, rinse without using chemicals. Fully washing your hair once a week or once every two weeks is often enough.

To top it off, that's how the Indians lived, and they were rich, had everything you need. Clear. we need fields. Resources like wood and food, but we shouldn't destroy more wilderness. Getting up with the sun was a good thing back then, but they probably slept in too. They were just not tied to the time. "What do we need the time for? Back then, in the old days, we didn't need it. We aligned ourselves with the beginning and setting of the sun. We never had to rush. We never had to look at the clock. We didn't have to be at work at a certain time. We did what had to be done when we felt like it. But we made sure to do it before the day ended. We had more time because the day was still whole."

Wow, wasn't expecting the amount of eating out in this video! Will future videos go back to actual cooking, or is this going to be the norm for the rest of the "car life" stuff? Not really feasible to be encouraging people to constantly eat subpar quality meals at McDonald's, I miss the real food.
@danika68502 жыл бұрын
How is she encouraging subpar meals or eating McDonald’s? She’s documenting *her* life on the road. Clearly you’ve never done it, because cooking from scratch constantly is hard and she’s trying new places. Don’t be weird. Your dyslexia comment a few months ago-also equally weird, rude & uncalled for.

As much as you are entitled to your opinion we are allowed to say why we think it’s stupid :) is her traveling encouraging people to stop everything and leave to go see the world which isn’t feasible 😱? No of course not. She is simply sharing her life and she is happening to be eating out and enjoying the food different places have to offer. Life is short and she is enjoying it. Why does she have to prepare everything at home for your convenience? Doesn’t matter if you miss it, make your own. She is experiencing new things and eating out is part of it. I think it’s great she doesn’t fear monger about diets. Ur acting like she’s eating junk. It’s a breakfast scramble 💀 even is she was eating “unhealthy” let her have fun.
@ctrlaltcassie2 жыл бұрын
@@user-ks8mm7hk5s I almost didn't respond to this because you're honestly being a bit of a jerk*, but for the record: I am not stupid. I am Autistic. If my tone is taken poorly and Julia herself hasn't told me, I'm not sure why she needs a bunch of assholes coming out to "defend her" from my question, but I didn't say anything rude to Julia or to you. She repeatedly said she'd be cooking the same way leading up to this "trip", and repeatedly said she'd be showing us how to eat healthy and consistently from a car - which is why I continued watching and being subscribed. This is like the second video and already, it's nonstop fast food. I'm not sure why you're bringing up "eating junk" when I didn't say anything about junk? I literally asked if this is what I can expect moving forward so I know if I should continue watching or not. Not sure who pissed in your Froot Loops, but mute me if you don't like what I have to say, you absolute weirdo.
