I did it! Built something that will actually end up in my dollhouse instead of being replaced by a store bought version! These chairs are perfect and I guess I've had just the right amount of practice and made enough mistakes to be able to master them! Thank you!

Thank you Paty. The wood is called Obeche, although I'm not sure it's available everywhere - do have a look at my Working With Wood video, which gives lots of advice on other woods to use. Hope that helps.

I have just recently found your channel and LOVE it. I am new to constructing miniature furniture so you will be holding my hand while I learn from you. I'm wondering where you get your wood? Is it accessible in the U.S.? Any help would be gratefully accepted. Many thanks for an incredible source in learning how to make miniature furniture. My granddaughter and my great nieces will be thrilled to begin receiving dolls furniture.

Thank you so much Kazia, I'm glad my videos will be of so much use to you. I'm not sure if the wood Obeche is available in the US, but I have done a video called Working with Wood, which gives some tips on other woods that are suitable for miniature work. I hope that helps. Best wishes, Julie.
