What the hell is the point of that stacked propeller configuration? It looks like it should be a counter rotating unit but both are connected and spin in the same direction. The second prop will hard do anything. It should have just had a four blade propeller...

The propeller is 30% more power full then a regular propeller, think about race car drivers taking advantage of the drafting effect!

Could you post some scientific study on this effect because if true then everyone would be using it, and apart from this single craft I have never seen propellers fitted like that on anything else....

@@Lucianrider i saw that propeller design in a good number of turboprop aircraft like the tu95 , and also in some post ww2 piston plane like the the seafire mk47
