Interesting tour...and yes, I think the elephants will tug on any heart strings except those making money off them like that. The coconut shucker was straight up barbaric! That's great you got in there to give it a try. I guess you've made it home safe now? Love that Smiling face... keep Rockin it!!
@ArielleViking Жыл бұрын
Seeing the mistreatment firsthand (when I lived in Thailand), I really feel for the elephants (those hooked sticks are brutal). Those roadside charcoal BBQ stalls are delicious. Feeding the streetdogs is seen as good karma but you do need to be careful of rabies in some areas. 👍

While sad seeing the elephants, it's also sad seeing the horseshoe crab still being eaten. The horseshoe crab dates back to 480 million years ago, and has faced countless extinction events, but due to loss of habitat and human interference, they're now facing extinction. Humans really are a greedy, selfish species.

Poor elephants, they should be in the wild. Most elephants in Thailand are maltreated by some greedy businessmen just for the money they earned using that animal. That fruit you ate Dustin, we call it santol.
