@@troubadour723 What the flying fuck are you talking about? Chris Pratt was absolutely criticized for being extremely boring, and for having the movie TELL us he's a badass without ever actually making him one. It's one of the reasons why people didn't want him as Super Mario, as he did NOTHING in Jurassic World. Plus his whole bullshit HANDS UP velociraptor thing was mocked endlessly by the internet through memes. That's before we also complained about the terrible plot, the park is terrible, the music was used inappropriately (instead of dinosaurs, the music was used to introduce the park), the insane amount of product placement that was added, JIMMY FALLON HAHAHA HE IS SO FUNNY HAHAHA... The ONLY major thing that the female lead got any flak for was "she can't run in heels" to which people tested and figured out "shit, you can but we don't expect a business executive to". That was IT. Heck, even the "two boys going through a divorce" were hit with more criticism than Heel Girl was. Take your sexist victim-mindset and get out of here. We were complaining about the movie about many things, including the male actors, and the bad writing. You're like the person who saw a few people go "female Ghostbusters?!" and ignored how 99% of the actual criticism was "bad jokes, terrible CGI, cliché roles, and terrible plot". Nice use of "dogwhistle" to poison the well for any response to you. Really good use of it to deflect anything sent your way. What is this? 2016 again?

I recently heard about a really good web comic (Scurry) well after it was done. The creator spent five years of their life making it and getting it out to the world. I read the entire thing in around two hours. I'm already one of those people that kind keeps how hard it is to create things vs how fast it is consumed/appreciated front of mind, but that one really drove it home.

it's because people would rather watch/listen to something they like while they try and fall asleep, like me, an Insomniac (it's 4.52am where I am as I post this). To us it's not as easy as "get in bed, turn off light, close eyes". It's true for some it might be the voice specifically... but I fall asleep just as easily to the sounds of people being devoured in Attack on Titan... and when we fall asleep it's mostly out of exhaustion, not choice.

Pitch Meetings are good to sleep to because if you've watched them already and you're accustomed to how they flow, it gives your mind something to rest on instead of branching off into open ended thought processes. I sometimes listen to your videos to fall asleep too! It's not that you are boring lol! For me, it's 1) I know them all, so I don't get super surprised by something and then get interested and lose my sleep; 2) your voice is consistent throughout all of them (so no jumpscares haha); and 3) they are funny! Seriously, when I couldn't sleep without headphones a few years ago, it was due to anxiety and depression. And funny things make you happy and relaxed! :D So thank you

Hey there, hello, I’m another person who also watches/listens to your videos when I’m falling asleep. I think it’s because, to me, you have a soothing voice, and that I’ve listened to a lot of these videos before so it’s calming to me? That’s the best I can do putting why I play your videos when falling asleep- love your work!

Dude this is literally me. For the last year I’ve been listening to them to fall asleep. I’ve been diagnosed with adhd since I was 8 (17 now) so my mind doesn’t stop running around. But listening to Ryan’s soothing voice helps keep my mind on something while I’m trying to sleep and it’s been amazing

Had no idea how much time it takes to put together even the seemingly simplest reels. C) This may sound weird but appreciate you bro hope you keep doing these for the next 20-30 years🤞 my life is better and happier because of your channel

Thanks for the shout out about Jake Johnson. He's always the best part of any movie/show he's in. Fun fact: During an interview with the cast during a late night talk show (I don't remember which), Bryce Dallas Howard (the evil Claire who's just the best irl) jokingly said that her husband was ''jealous'' because she worked with her Hollywood crush - Jake Johnson. Understandable.

The problem with using Pitch Meetings to fall asleep to is that I've been doing it long enough that I'm completely trained at this point, and when a new one comes out it can take me a few tries to get through it without dozing off. I feel like Pavlov would have something to say about that.

And I also have wild dreams. But 100% it id NOT because I think you or your vidoes are boring. In fact. I fall asleep to ALL of my favorite youtubers. It gives me comfort. And relaxtion. I don't have to think. I can just enjoy. That makes me relaxed, then sleepy. It's amazing ! You sir, are a master class!
