I hope they make a series out of this one day, I loved this one. Preferably with a few more castings, like Xanadu, Bennett and Enchantress, hell maybe even Zauriel, I keep wondering if they would have done the Enchantress story-line better than the Suicide Squad's Live action one, she has so much potential to be a great character but like always she gets scrapped when things get interesting or gets the cliche evil witch shit. I wish Xanadu was there though, isn't Destiny (the baddie in the film) her child of some sort?

I felt frustrated from the fraudulent, fragile, and translucent storytelling. The characters fail to communicate effectively or convey sufficient content to evaluate it to such degrees. Justice League Dark achieved nothing and truly deserves 5.5/10. The introduction was pitiful. The events leading up to the climax were simplistic and barely engaging. The reveal was horrendous. The resolution was obvious. The only good thing that came out of the film is Deadman.

I like Batman in this especially from a viewer's perspective. Imagine you don't really know any of the characters of this film, except for Batman, and you get drawn into it a little skeptical and not sure what to believe. Batman is that viewer, he doesn't really believe in it at first but as it goes along he discovers that maybe he was wrong. Meanwhile because he's the silent type he doesn't take the spotlight from the rest of the crew, while still giving the regular superhero fans someone they recognise.

I have to say its one of the better DC animated movies to come out in awhile, I loved how Juxtaposed and out of place Batman was. However...they completely ruined Etrigan and Swamp Thing. Swamp Thing show sup for like 30 seconds and then says "piss off" then he comes to back to fight the big bad at the end...and lets not get into to much spoilers but he and Jason Knight don't make it. So Etrigan goes back to hell presumably and then its just Zatana, Constantine and Deadman...What the hell DC? Another great story ruined by New 52 style decisions.

This movie is more focused on supernatural, something batman isn't familiar with, and don't try to defend it by saying it's more like Constantine's movie, because batman is still there, when by logic it's suppose to be Wonder Woman, someone who's more familiar of magic to get the spot light. There was a lot to like about the movie but a lot that I didn't like. A big part of my issues with this stem from how the characters have been changed in the comics. In short, the John Constantine and Swamp Thing in DC right now are not the same ones from before the New 52. Constantine almost never directly used magic so seeing him speak gibberish and throwing fireballs is a little irritating. In the 80's Swamp Thing was retconned by Alan Moore. He "discovers" that he never was Dr. Alec Holland. DC changed that back and now he is Alec Holland again. Like I said, these are quibbles based on how these characters had been handled by DC and not specific adaption issues. As far as the movie, Batman is useful as a foil against Constantine and a good "normal man's view" of the world of magic. That said Wonder Woman is such and obvious better choice to tackle world magic events that it looks almost silly. Then there is the make up of the team. Justice League Dark has a large membership and the movie only highlighted the most famous ones. The ones that have already been in other DC media properties. You'd think just maybe Madam Xanadu might make an appearance.

Sorry, but is this reviewer really stating that Batman should have let WW take the case because Batman doesn't believe in the supernatural? Have you never seen a story where the main character displays doubt at the beginning but is taken on a journey which opens their eyes to the concept they've been dismissing? What a ridiculous thing to point out. Of course Batman had to go along as the only JL member who dismissed the supernatural as an option. Wouldn't have been much of a bloody story if WW took the case, turned up and said "Yeah, I believe all this already, lets go, its fine."

I wish WB/DC would stop forcing the animation people to put Batman in everything. Even though they did pretty well given all the limitations put on them, imagine how much better these movies could be if they were allowed more creative freedom to do what they want. And would it kill them to give these movies a bigger budget? They're able to do a lot with only 70 minutes, why can't WB throw them a bit more cash so they can make it 90 minutes? Why is no one talking about the black lantern ring setup in the film? I was at least expecting a post credits scene with batman examining the ring he took from John Stewart and realising the similarities between it and the ring memory that Constantine snatched from the homicidal father's dreams. This was a fair portion of the film and yet they never got back to it after the team got back Ritchie's (to ask him about the ring no less) and the whole Faust diversion started. So WTF? This totes seems like a setup for a Blackest Night film, but no one is saying anything!

I imagine the only reason he did was because WB figured his picture on the box art would sell better than WW's. So now that we have the animated movie lets get to work on the live adaptation, DC.

the dubstep during the final fight scene was horrible tbh though & I wished Matt Ryan could've portrayed Constantine with a bit more of a scumbag vibe & I do like him on the show as well he just sounds a bit off at times & Bats with his hmmmms were classic the Faust fight was pretty dope though

I liked this movie, and i agree that Wonder Woman should have been here instead of Batman. Sadly everyone likes Batman more, so thats why he's there, no one would have seen this movie if he wasn't in it. I wish DC/ Warner Bros could give Batman a rest and flesh out more of its other superheroes more

Constantine x Zatana was a very contrived plot point and Constantine shielding Faust from death was severely cliche. Batman had no reason to be there, he knows nothing about magic,maybe he just wanted to hang out with Constantine
