@@manuelalbertoromero9528 The crisis in the movie trilogy results from Barry going back in time and unknowingly killing Darkseid as a baby (Constantine made Barry a living bioweapon). This results in 2 multiverses: one with Darkseid‚ and one without. If you see your favourite universe get destroyed chances are that was just look-a-like (i.e. if Darkseid popped up once then that universe is not in the crisis multiverse). This is just for cameos and to fill the "roster" since I believe the comics also did this so why not do the "same". I'll just end by saying that this is not really a big deal. They probably pop back up as a cameo to another project in the far future (just like in the comics).

A crisis that happens in comics doesn't affect live action, live action doesn't affect animation, and even this isn't affecting other animated stuff. Everything exists in it's own bubble with tiny universe bubbles within it. That's why even tho we saw a Batman voiced by Kevin Conroy, the look of his Batman, Joker, GL, and Hawkgirl didn't match up to how they're supposed to look. On top of that, after every crisis, that set of multiverses gets reset after a while. It's why the crime syndicate gets merc'd every crisis but come back after like nothing happened.

The average budget of a straight to DVD/streaming animated movie is about the same as two episodes of an animated show like Family Guy. 20 movies would cost about the same as 2 seasons of Family Guy, and it's still less than the budget of Iron Man 1 not adjusted for inflation. These animated movies also make a reasonable profit. They tend to make their budgets back in the first few weeks after release. But WB isn't satisfied with making $5-6 million here and there. They want to make hundreds of millions at a time.

​@@manuelalbertoromero9528 Yep so nothing that happened in the movie mattered. All the universes that got erased still exist in a different multiverse, but the multiverse in the movie was destroyed. TLDR everyone is fine it's just twin universes that were destroyed

Crisis on Infinite Earths was the perfect adaptation of the original event in the 80s. Watching all the worlds we recognize be condensed into one with no hope of stopping. They managed to pull of a genuine DC Crisis event in an animated movie series.
