Watching Taylor’s growth and development as an artist has truly been like watching a beautiful flower open up. The flower buds are beautiful on their own but just when you think it’s at it’s peak of openness it opens even more. And it just keeps happening over and over again. People have equated the fact that he had his audience of 15k chant "f*** taylor swift" at his show, with Taylor having a crowd of an adoring 60k people shouting "if a man talks shhh then I owe him nothing" along with her.

So I was never a Taylor swift fan, because I only ever heard radio songs and they just weren’t my style. Didn’t dislike her, and I hated all the shit she went through with people just loving to hate her (that crap bugs me so much). But I had a reaction video to her live “don’t blame me” pop up recently, watched it, and I was blown away… then watched this one… loved it. Then vigilante shit… amazing. Now I have several of her songs on my phone. And when I tell you the hold that Cardigan has over me is unreal, I am not even exaggerating. Guess I am now a swiftie. lol. Working on getting my 9 year old son to realize how amazing she is, too!

As a fan since the beginning, I love all versions and genres of her, because the songwriting is always on point. I don't think everyone has to like Taylor swift, but so many people are out there spouting off about how much they hate her for no real reasons (she can't sing, has no talent, doesn't write her own songs, she is dippy, shallow, all her songs sound like he diary of an 11 year old, etc). All it tells me is that they have listened to maybe 3 taylor swift songs (probably shake it off and a couple other early radio hits) and summed her entire career and identity on that and things they have heard in the media over the past 17 years. They clearly have no idea what they are talking about and I wish they would just keep scrolling instead of posting all the reasons they think they hate her on ever post or article they see. I'm 40, not a teenage girl, and wasn't even when I started listening to her. The vitriol has become tired and predictable.
