When they released Wasted on You during the pandemic I found myself really appreciating their evolution to what I would ignorantly only be able to call a "stadium" sound. I always liked them and Amy's vocals especially, but that song really felt like they'd progressed into something new and much... fuller, if that makes sense? Their classics from back in the day were very well produced and stand out, but some of the new music just has a bigger attitude and sound. I'm liking it.

Love the song and the meaning behind it. Amy wrote it as a way of purging her past feelings towards her former label who wanted to keep pushing her to milk her success when she became famous. She refused to “sell her soul” in order to stay true to herself. Finally, when she brought it to her band they made it into this banger. I especially love their drummer, Will Hunt on this. He particularly shines in their latest album, The Bitter Truth

Love how musicans are born with a natural genious for sound, that they hear and replicate without training. I listen but cant instantly pull apart the sound. My daughter is an singer and an artist. When i ask her what she sees when she draws, It was nothing that I would have ever thought of. She sees outlines and patterns. every angle and shade, where i see just the picture, she sees the "structure". I observe that with you, you heard the structure, the tone and pitch, "shade" of a song, pattern instantly. its amazing. Its the reason beside loving you, the reason I watch, the knowledge that you share, the I can only learn and try to see and remember to look for! To hear DEEPER than the surface the rest of us hear but cant explain!
