DIY TRASH CAN PULL OUT (EASY AND CHEAP!)

This is my way of making a built in trash drawer for my kitchen! Hope you Enjoy

Perfect, clear and easy to follow video. Thanks! My handyman is going to build me this out of scrap lumber I already have, for cheaper than a "commercial ready made" assembly. In the drawer directly above will also be a pull out cutting board with a waste slot into the trash can below. (Bottom of drawer removed of course) And thanks again!

We have the same kitchen except where your pantry is, my fridge is. We have the same cabinets, same finish, appliances in same location (except fridge), same breakfast bar and window above the sink. It's freaking me out!! Lol. Also my cabinets came w no drawer pulls and I see yours did as well. Same builder?! Who knows. Mine is a new build in TX.

I'd love to know if the door attachment method is holding up 12 months later! My mother has a cupboard with the shelf missing where she keeps her 30L bin and when she is using the bin during meal prep it usually just gets pulled out and left in the corner.

Easy for the person that owns all the industrial equipment and knows how to use such equipment in order to be able to build this. So not really DIY for the average joe! 🤔😠

no industrial equipment used, standard run of the mill royobi battery tools from any hardware store (home depot, lowes,true value, etc. ) u can get the drill/screw gun, and the trim gun by royobi in 18volt for like 180 for both and will come with 2 batteries and a charger.

You can always measure and have wood cut at home depot. then you just screw the wood pieces together in the shape of a box and screw/nail a piece of plywood to the bottom. Screw in the drawer slides to the inside of the cabinet and attach the box. All you'd need is a screw driver....

Just need a drill and measuring tape. Hardware store can make your cuts.
