Former Word-Faith preacher and TBN host, John Samson, joins me for a second interview. God delivered John out of the Word-Faith deception and he nows pastors a doctrinally sound church.
In this interview, John and I discuss salvation, healing, and miracles, and particularly how all of these things relate to the sovereignty of God. I think you will find this interaction helpful.

I was saving my money, so I could go see Andrew Wammack in July/23 and get healed of Scoliosis on a 65 degree angle. Since listening to weeks of your Videos Justin Peters, I'm totally sure that it would be the biggest waste of time and money that I ever planned to spend. God could one day heal me, if it were His will to do so, but definitely not by going to some supposed faith healer. Once again so grateful for God again leading me to know His truth, through the Word. Your ministry is so very important Justin and love you brother for helping me find these truths. Bless you and your wife and little dog. ❤️✝️❤️🙏❤️🙏🏾❤️

I came out of a Charismatic church due to RC Sproul. I was in the church library and I saw his book Renewing Your Mind. I read the back, then the whole book. That led me to more of his books, then to John MacArthur and his teaching and books. This in turn led me to Justin Peters, Paul Washer and Voddie Baucham. What a journey it has been and still is! I've grown so much in faith and discernment, praise God!

I enjoyed this video. Thank you. I believe God still heals but not in a grandiose way often. I had terrible eczema on my hands for many years. It was very painful. The skin was cracked and bleeding and constantly weeping puss. A woman at church offered to pray for me, and as a new Christian I knew nothing about exercising faith etc but allowed her to pray for me. There was no great shouting or shaking etc just a quiet prayer alone in an office between two people. Within a couple of days, my hands were completely free from the eczema I had suffered with for years. That was over forty years ago and I have never had problems with eczema since. I am very aware that there are people with worse conditions than what I had that haven’t been physically healed. I don’t know why God chose to heal me, but I am so grateful he did.

I loved this video and it also scared me to bits too. Loved it to know that I am not good enough to learn and follow God but the fact that God knew me before I was born and that I would live in this world in sin and yet he still let me come to him and be humbled by him. Also scared to know how supreme God is in yet he still allowed me to just be. He is truly the beginning and the end of it all. He is an amazing God. I loved this video of you Justin and John and I’ve saved it and will be rewatching it again so I can take notes and be so happy that God is truly Sovereign.

Most of my friends are in the word of faith movement and they tell me i need to learn to speak to my body and speak to the thunderstorms... I have a very hard time hanging out with them because there is always awkward moments of silence because i don't agree with them. I dont always want to confront things because i know it will rise up there attitudes. I just pray for them because nothing you say will reach there ears. I feel lonely at times because biblically sound true christians are far and few between. Living a Godly life has caused many to stray away from me and i can't compromise with them. It's really a difficult walk sometimes.

@Nakia Skinner I understand the loneliness being a Christian 30 years married 38 years but no one else is saved in my family. I pray for them all but I can see these years have brought me to study deeper, pray earnestly and often. I wonder if they were saved would I have such a deep love for the Lord and read his word everyday? It’s the most important thing in my life and no one I love wants to hear it. I rest in God’s sovereignty and his promise to never leave me or forsake me. ❤️❤️ I understand why God wants us to be in church. We must be with fellow Christians by His grace to help us in this evil world. God bless🙏

Justin, you were one of the first "exposers of false teachers" I listened to several years ago. I had been a HUGE fan ever since. Thank you for your commitment to preserving the true gospel in a time where it can get easily lost in the vast array of heretical churches and teachers. I found this session/interview to be a delight to listen to - especially how you follow the arguments of Armminians to their illogical conclusions. I look forward to whatever comes next on your channel, I am a subscriber and always am encouraged by your messages and programs.

Thank you for solid scripture teachings of the Lord. I got saved in the early 1980's out of the occult, i.e., astrology, mediums, etc, but I entered prosperty teachings of Kenneth Copeland and others, and unfortunately watching TBN was misled without realizing it! This is why we need a channel where real scriptural teachings and also teaching of why there is such ERROR in prosperty mystical Christianity is leading to destruction.

Brothers and Sisters, please pray for my wife and her family and my family. They are all very deceived by the charismatic and pentecostal movement. I began watching Voddie Baucham and he was preaching the gospel truth! I knew that he was speaking the God breathed truth from my reading of the Bible and always believed that something was not right because it seemed that everyone denied or was unwilling to understand the doctrines and statutes clearly written in the word of God. Slowly i began to discover the reformed theology and realized that I had been deceived for my whole life. I thank God for bringing me out of the deception. Pray for me as I attempt to share the true Gospel of Christ, and expose the perversion of the Holy Scriptures that is being done in these charismatic, pentecostal, word of faith movements to my family. God bless and Godspeed.

It's an astute observation that the chronically ill and the disabled don't fit and don't belong in the Word of Faith church. That church wants an Instagram life, but if you are traumatised, have PTSD, are injured, single, impoverished, infertile, etc, you don't have a place there. When I was worshipping in my church, I lifted my hands to God and thought sadly of my nerve damaged hands. I thought with a wave of grief "they're diseased hands now", and immediately I felt the Lord say calmly "I don't mind 'diseased' ", and I felt His comforting love. Tears of love and comfort streamed down my face🥰 Jesus is unflinching at disease, He healed lepers and raised the dead, and didn't "antisocial distance" or wear a Covid mask either when he responded to people 😁

I was already traumatized by the word of faith movement, which I had believed in since I was a teenager. Being totally blind, I would have been even more traumatized if I heard that "your disability limits God" line. I would have probably spent half of my time hating myself because my blindness was limiting God. Praise be to the true God for liberating me from that set of beliefs which caused me so much pain.

WOW. Way to confuse me. Great evidence given for both side. I've been praying alot wanting to understand so many things but this seems to make so much sense and is resonating. I will keep praying the Lord lead me.

I would just like to thank you Justin Peters for what you are doing. I just found you a few days ago. I’m from the mid west and can’t find a church to attend. THANK YOU FOR CALLING THEM OUT. I Can’t find a bible believing church in my area.

What an eye-opening conversation! I have learnt some much: cessationist, sovereignty, ordanation, sheeps/goats, just/mercy, angle's non-deemption.....I need to watch again the second time.

I also loved the analogy Just used about the single cell of a lily leaf under a microscope. Thinking of that one single cell is magnificent and I also feel the same when I try to let my puny brain think about how amazing and wonderful God is when I look at a single heartbeat from a foetus or even when looking at a fingerprint on a newborn baby. It’s totally mind boggling knowing how magnificent God truly is.
