I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but I really appreciate how you aren't attempting to be perfect about it. The brush is catching other hair and the section parting in the back was including the previous sections. It makes it so much more user friendly showing that you can do that and it STILL LOOKS GOOD. I'm obsessed with your energy, definitely subscribed.

I do agree with you. It is nice to see that he does not care that much if there are a few strands that fell out or if he misses a few strands in the back. It really tells me that when we blow our own hair, we don't really need to make it perfect and just like you said, it looks amazing.

Thank you, I just blow dried my hair after watching this tutorial and found the process so much more straightforward than ever before. I’ve always struggled with the self blow dry 🤭 but your tips about direction of the hair dryer, drying order of roots, mid and ends and especially lifting at the back of the crown are so valuable. It’s the best blow dry I’ve ever given myself! My hair looks so much more voluminous and coiffed. Now to practice and get speedier. Love love your work. 💓💓😻😻

I was looking for some good hair protectant and other hair care products when I came across this video. Saw the products and decided to give it a try. I JUST GOT TO SAY I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! I totally didn't regret buying them, it did wonders to my hair! My hair is wavy, dry, frizzy and always tangled. When I bought the items, I couldn't wait to try it. I thought it only worked when I blow dry my hair and NO! IT WORKS EVEN IF YOU JUST AIR DRY IT. The serum did not weigh down your hair, in fact it really makes it smoother. The conditioning mist really detangles my hair, I don't even need to comb it often!! And the shine drops? DAMN IT REALLY DESERVED THE AWARD WINNING. It really makes your hair shinier and smoother all day longgggg. The only products that ever worked on my hair. Thank you so much Jonathan! You saved my life !!

I have the post-partum regrowth frizz all over, especially at the frame of my face. There were so many good pro-tips, I had to watch as I blow dried. My favorite tip was blow drying the hair sleek on top. I didn't think to change how I round brush the top -- as in NOT round brushing the top to make it more sleek. Thank you Johnathan!

How gorgeously you are showing doing it on yourself, I can relate so much seeing you also sort of struggling with self-hair-styling, as it takes some acrobatic skills to make it good especially on the back hair. And how much I hate the round brush on my longer hair... I probably was always using the wrong ones, but it feels like they are ripping my hair out, I don't want to get bald! Anyways, you are a star, Jonathan!

i recently bought the blowout milk bc i feel like i’ve tried almost every product to try and prep my hair for a lasting blow out, i have 2c 3a 3b hair super prone to frizz and humidity. i applied the milk on fresh washed hair before my blow out, and it’s THE BEST. i blew out my hair two days ago and my hair has stayed straight and almost frizz free, and it rained around here yesterday!! im gonna go purchase the rest of the line, especially the shine drops at the end to lock it all in!!! i trusted jvn for many reasons, but their textured hair also really sells it for me :)

I've had my hair natural for a while with 4c hair. I want to straighten my hair and again potentially do a blow out. If I do this, can I skip the straightening? So many great tips! I totally messed up and it took like 2 hours to blow dry and straighten.

You can follow this tutorial but you’ll need a lot more product and do more sectioning, as the more kinks and coils we have the more moisture and smaller sections we need!
