Not sure if you know this or not but the throttle cable threads have those spaces in between them intentionally so you can slip it into place between the bracket, you just have to run the lower nut all the way down the thread (jump the nut over the space and on to the other lower thread, then you would have a clear window to fit the cable between the bracket (instead of bending it). Then move the nuts back up into place and adjust cable tension. Just a tip, thats why it was engineered like tht.

Is that a K20? I have a K24A2 in my CRX and was wondering what's the difference in the water neck adapter for the RBC? Do I need that KTuned kit and cut the intake? The person I got the engine from was running it with silicone in that area.
@bobbydelamar6062 жыл бұрын
Is that a Karcepts adapter plate? What radiator hoses did you use? Sorry I have so many questions, I'm almost ready to start.
@ChrisBuilt922 жыл бұрын
This was a k24a2, this used a block off plate for the coolant port. You don't have to cut it unless you want to. I bought it cut already so I had to get the block plate. The radiator hoses I got off eBay

@@ChrisBuilt92 Okay so the temp sensor get relocated to the back of the head? You don't happen to have those hose part numbers?
@ChrisBuilt922 жыл бұрын
The temp sensor screwed into the block off plate I used, the part number for the hoses? If you go on eBay and search "k swap hoses" should come up

is it safe to cut a little part of the rad peg foot to prevent it from hitting the hood? nice and clean eg btw 👌🏼
@ChrisBuilt923 жыл бұрын
Wouldn’t make a difference because they slide through the bracket , what you could do is lower the mounting points lower.

Was the top front corner of that koyo modified for K-swaps? I've never seen one with that sloped section. Just ordered one for my EG that seems to overheat the fuel whenever I run the AC (since installing a stainless header. You've got the only Koyo/EG install I could find.
@ChrisBuilt924 жыл бұрын
Hey man, this is just a koyo rad most likely used for b swap but works the same for k.

Looks like you got the latest revision then. Newest pics I could find (with the temp sensor port) was on JHPusa.

Were you using a fan switch or does the fan just come on with kpro?

I used the cars factory fan controller wires and kpro controlled when they turned on based on the coolant temp sensor reading

Looking nice! Were you able to use your old radiator cap or did you have to get a new one for the Koyo radiator?
@ChrisBuilt924 жыл бұрын
The cap was actually what was wrong with my eBay radiator so I chose to just upgrade the whole things. Koyo doesn’t sell the cap with the rad you need to buy it separate
