He has performance parts that he wants to install but having a hard time looking for tuning software that would work for his car. Do you happen to know what he is able to use in order to tune it? My recommendation is get a Hondata Kpro like i have done - Check out RSX Kpro tune video

I did the crackle tune and I changed my vtec engagement point and the car felt so much slower lol the stock tune pulls harder IMO

If you set VTEC too low, it will cause a loss in power and it will definitely feel slower

Its possibly they could bolt up, problem is they are too new and expensive to be able to get your hands on one for testing. The VW ones are just so cheap and plentiful.

Can u get a shorter final drive for that gearbox? One that puts gearbox limit at about 240 KPH at 8000 rpms

You do know that huxracing makes a kit for there k series swap mR2 and they have a Sequential shift 6sp gearbox with the hux adapter plate you can use the gear box in a civic as well then in a mR2

Thanks - Yup, I am aware of Hux, its very different to what i am doing here tho. I specically want a DSG (Direct Shift Transmission) also know as a Dual Clutch Transmission.

Do you have any update tough? I've got an 7th Gen Euro Accord, it's like an 03-08 Acura tsx. I actually have a 20mm adapter plate k24 to DSG, im actually right now trying to fit an K24a3 with Dq250 in the accord, but the engine+tranny package is like 30mm to wide for the chassis, now I need some inspirations. 😂 Cutting the chassis is not an option. 😢

Few questions what tein coilovers are those? How does it ride thinking about personally buying them myself and it's going to be my daily and maybe a head package on that k24a2? And see the difference with whp/tq? 🤔🤔

The coilovers came with the car - I believe they are Tein Super Street. I havent had a chance to take them off and verify yet, but im pretty sure they are super street. They ride very well, definitely good for daily - Ive had many different brands of coilovers - Tien are my favorite

As for the K24 Head package - I like to keep things simple, I want to put a 50* VTC wheel and a set of Drag Cartel DIC cams. I honestly think that will give the best results for a reasonable amount of money without sacrificing any reliability. If you go too aggressive with cams you will have timing chain tensioner issues

@@tuningbynick Yes i heard nothing but good stuff about tein suspension everyone loves them specially for a daily its not stiff or bouncy alot of people say its like stock but lowered if that make sense

@@tuningbynick Yes you are correct and I thought about DC DIC to but people i know always say drop in cams and 2.2 drag cartel is the same price or close enough why not go 2.2 but like you said upgrading the head without ruining the reliability and PLEASE do the DC drop in Cam defff want to see the difference this would help me out! I saw a youtube clip of a guy in South Africa who did the similar, probably you are already aware of it. Whereby he created the adapter plate and a solution for the axles: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXLKlWppjKyjeLM Also I am quite interested in how you going to control the DSG, most of the time that seem to be a big hurdle... The only solution that I am come along thus far is provided by HTG tuning in Poland, which offers standalone management for DSG, ZF, PDK gearboxes. I am certainly going to follow this, since in my opinion K series + DSG is awesome, especially if you can run the 4wd Haldex system on it!
