I feel those parents panic.. kids are escape artists.. my son has escaped at 3am into our fenced backyard, and we moved and he escaped through the front window to see the puppy (large German Shepard) but at least he put his boots on that time.. everything has to have child locks on because they get ornery at 2-5yo..

They certainly do get ornery at 2-5yo, Sarah!! I enjoyed getting naked at 3yo and walking though the neighbors' lawns because it was fun to feel grass beneath my feet.

My husband spent 37 years at a utility company working in the gas department, and that last blast was my greatest fear. I hope they all recovered. Great reaction, Kabir.

My daughter was an escape artist. At 3 years old, she would get up around 5am, unlock the door, and try to get next door to Grandma's house. Put a large chair in front of the door until we could add another lock that she couldn't reach. Not really a fire hazard as this old house had 6 doors leading outside.

I really hope those parents took it seriously. Put some sturdy locks and/or door alerts on them! I had one on our back sliding glass door. It opened onto a lake with alligators known in that area to protect my mom with dementia. So anytime someone opened it, we'd hear "back door open" all throughout our townhouse.

When my son was 2 years old he locked me out of the house. I stepped out on the deck to grab something he closed the door behind me and locked it. It was a sliding glass door. He stood there and !aughed and wouldn't open the door. Then he took off and I couldn't see him. I ended up throwing a brick through the basement door window to get in....we laugh about it now,.lol

I was going down the freeway in Northern California one afternoon when I came upon a small kid peddling his tricycle. He had gotten out of his neighborhood, and up a trail that led to the onramp and went up on the highway

The narrator's voice adds to the suspense of these videos so much. Also there was a small plane crash near me the other day where it was caught on dash cam last month. Crazy footage from the 91 freeway in California.

The one with the kid... I feel that. We have had to install all kinds of locks and now an alarm system to know when he's trying to wander off. Yes, our alarm is to know when someone's leaving, not when they're breaking in.

Yep. It often takes tragedy to learn proper protocols. When I was training as a Wildland Fire they gave us examples of casualty fires to teach us. Storm King and Yarnell Hill stand out especially. Even smaller incidents with only 1 or 2 casualties would be studied. You'd be surprised how fast things can change on a fire hearing from those stories alone. Luckily the fires I've been one were tame in comparison

Unfortunately thanks to the pandemic trials have been delayed by at least two years. Orlando has a massive backlog of cases still and it’s not even started as more pressing issues keep coming up. Trust me it just keeps going. New York City has a backlog of three years mostly smaller case but they do every big case in the federal court building so it takes a long time.
@davidstephens6462
@davidstephens6462 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah! The court system in metro Atlanta is ridiculously backed up. Have a friend who's case was going long anyway before the virus, because it's a civil case-he is coming up on 4 years of postponed hearings and court appearances. And the state can't even give him an estimate on when his case will resume proceedings. It's horrible! Even the jails are having to release nonviolent offenders because of the case backlog. Anyone that has served half of what they're sentence would be before a judge is let loose with an open ended court appearance. Not knowing when they'll get their day in court.

I hadn’t seen any of these videos before. So scary. The little kid running down the middle of the road freaked me out as did a lot of the others. There’s a video of a snowy pile up of cars in Pennsylvania that’s awful to watch. Car after car hitting cars and big trucks hitting too during a snowstorm. They can’t stop in time. Awful to watch and hear. Also saw one of a trooper who stops to see a woman lying in the road. I think she’s drunk but she could have been run over…frightening. Good reaction Kabir😀

There have been even bigger pile ups on snowy highways. One in Michigan and one in Iowa come to mind. But, when freak ice storms hit the South, it causes major problems. They don't know how to drive on snow, let alone ice.

We had a 131 car pile up here in Neenah, Wisconsin in 2019. One person was killed and over 70 injured. It was in February and, the wind kicked up all the snow. It was whiteout conditions. I think it's the biggest pile up in Wisconsin history......so far. There are a few videos about it on KZbin. Don't get out of your car until, you know it's safe to do so in a pile up!

10:30 the worst pileup on record was the M41 pileup on March 15th 1997. Radiation fog caused 160 smashed vehicles, 20 serious injuries and three fatalities. Many drivers were seen going too fast for the conditions, up to 110km/h (70mph). 28 drivers were charged with dangerous driving and one went to prison. Always drive to the conditions, even if you’re running late for work. Nothing is worth risking your life and the lives around you.

As for the first story, according to news stories, the victim was a young mother out for a celebration of her birthday. She left the nightclub and tried to enter an Urber. The driver was there for someone else. Rather than help her, he threw her out of the car. That was when she was abducted. She was held captive, abused and finally killed. Her killer was found guilty. Although it can take some time between conviction and sentencing, the crime carries a mandatory life sentence.

I live in a very rural area, and a lot of people just won't drive when it's snowing. So I actually prefer that. My AWD SUV handles really well in everything except ice, so I'm usually the only one driving the speed limit, lol. As long as I have tires with decent tread I can get through almost everything. The only time I ever got close to getting in trouble was after the first thaw, my GPS lost it's mind and sent me on a gravel road. My car sunk so much it was literally plowing the mud with the front bumper. I burned probably 3 gallons of gas going a whole mile and a half until I got on a paved road.

8:24 - I live in northern Ontario and I've driven on highways like this many times. That cop was driving WAY too fast for the road conditions! It's his fault if he got into an accident. This type of thing happens when people drive too fast, don't have winter tires, and don't know how to drive during winter! People who don't know how to drive in this weather should stay home! Including the cop!!!
@bedinor

You have recourse. That's why planes are highly maintained and why you generally increase altitude quickly that way you have plenty of glide time.

If maintained properly even older planes are very safe. There are many reasons for a plane to lose power besides the age and maintenance. He could have gotten contaminated fuel before the flight.

The United States has the most perfect law enforcement and criminal justice system. No one is ever found guilty for a crime they did not commit. The courts run at lighting speed and ensures everyone a fair trial. Money means nothing in the justice system; Whether you are rich or poor, if you hire a real attorney or go with a public defender you will always be treated with respect and a fair, unbiased trial will proceed to ensure 100% accuracy in court proceedings.
