I don't think anyone can accuse Homer of being lazy. He had to re-position the platforms several times in one afternoon...he brings one UP the stairs for his first demonstration, then he takes it DOWN again to put it at the fridge, then UP again to put it in the bathroom (since he seems to shout to the toplevel at Lisa) only for BOTH to end up in the kitchen. He carried one of them up and down twice! And they don't look particularly weightless. Unless Marge had to carry it...
